Really Nice Codeine Thread

First time i had codeine it was 2x 30/500's. A guy on another forum recommended it to me because he loved the stuff. I didnt even know you could get high on it but my nan was down and she always has a box of script ones lying about. I got a nice buzz on 60mg tbh but it didn't take me long to get on with the CWE's. At first my abuse was generally 2x 30/500's and 4 nurofens boshed at once, that gave me a nice high

If i went to a doctor and spilled the beans what do you reckon they would give me, wont be able to give me vals for starters, they wont put me on roaccutane for some horrible cysts i get because its linked with depression even though im gonna have to get same fkn cyst i had removed last year removed again. I think even if i go i will just be told to go to some pointless support group i don't need because i have this site. I went to turning point because of valium and god did i hate it. Most banal recovery ever, just made me want to use drugs.

I'm really pushing my daily APAP limit over here, what with the cold pills I took having APAP without me realizing, but I'm not at 4g yet. Still better shove some of these in cold water.
 
Well 3 x 30 mg DHCs on an empty stomach followed shortly after by another 30mg didnt do anything yesterday. Dunno what i was expecting really, as some people say they feel a bit stimmy whilst other say they make them drowsy. Perhaps i did feel slightly more stimmed than baseline, but definately didnt feel like id taken opis. May have to increase the dose quite a bit next time i try in a few days/ next week.
 
Well think about it in terms of the equivalent codeine dosage, which is (at best) 240mg. Anybody with opioid tolerance ain't going to feel much from that.

Try throwing some promethazine in and see how you go on.
 
True, good point. I'll increase my dose by at least 50% next time.

Promethazine will potentiate the drowsy type effects if anything wont it? Just wondering how that'll feel if DHC feels far more stimmy to some people, compared to codeine? How did you find DHC on the drowsy/stimmy scale?
 
I don't really find any opioid is exclusively either 'stimmy' or 'drowsy'. I find there's a crossover, and a lot can depend on the time of day you're dosing, what else is in your bloodstream, whether you've eaten, etc.

With heroin I usually get a couple of hours' stimulation and pronounced euphoria, then the nod creeps in. DHC can be pretty similar.
 
Usually after, because otherwise the promethazine can kick in too quickly and just turn the heroin high into drowsiness and not much more. If that's what I'm looking for, however...

Remember the promethazine will also help to prevent nausea. I can't recommend it enough.

Definitely not the case with me - I'd put it at 150% the potency of codeine, maybe. DHC feels far closer to a 'real' opiate, and lasts far longer as well.
 
Some people say that its 1.5-2 times stronger, i guess it's another of those YMMV things. I will probably try ~200mg next time, considering that's the amount of O-dt i need to feel anything im guessing my opi tolerance is rising again, and far too rapidly at that. Perhaps once its been pushed up it never resets back to normal, or just takes a very long time to do so:?
 
Do you lot smoke weed out of interest, i meen do you all combine your DHC and codiene with it?

You'd be surprised at how quickly it can fall if you abstain from any and all opioids for a few months. Hence the number of people who OD upon getting released from prison.
 
Yeh even the histamine release last wednesday took by complete surprise, straight after a bong hit aswell. Thats some potentiation right thur

You know what i think MDB, i think you need to do a 500mg dose

When i came out the hosital the other year i was given DHC. Did 300 mg when i got home and man i felt great with just the DHC on its own and no bud i hadnt touched opies for around 2 weeks at the time though. profound Euphoria, muscle relaxation the whole works
 
Yeh ive had 2 bowls of cereal im off work today though, passed my driving test earlier : ) now im having a well deserved cwe
