I loved old BL too, but it did have it's downsides - could be pretty cliquey at times to those not naturally inclined to sociability (like myself).

Personally, I felt it went downhill a few years back and I stopped reading or posting much.

It's only in the last year or so that I've bothered to take an interest in EADD again, and that's mainly due to the improved quality of posting here. SamhainGrim, charlie clean, chinup, Transform (to name a few) all seem to be great contributors.

In fact, they reminded me in some ways of the old EADD crew. That's why I came back.

Maybe that's why there was a clash of egos - you all may hate to admit it, but I have a sneaking suspicion you're all more alike than you think. <3
 
Do you know what after some years of posting and lurking here, I'm disgusted by the lack of real support for what I consider genuinely offensive and abusive attacks. Infinite Jests Dick sizing over posts and general misrepresentation about my posts, which where made for the only reason of loving this place and not wanting it to end up like Squatjuice etc have genuinely hurt me.

Infinite Jest couldn't even manage a public I'm sorry I upset you post and just wanted a PM battle.

For these reasons I would ask that my user name and account be deleted, I have no further need to come here, my life is bad enough as it is.

anyone wishing to keep in touch can mail me <not a good idea, and don't quit just because of that>

This post made me :) I didn't know old BL obviously but I like a lot of people in new BL, new+old posters alike :)

atm: am sorry you feel like you've had no support - I think everyone just wants the whole thing to die down now tho really.. think a lot of misunderstandings went on in that thread <3
