Hi all :) I'm what some would call New B.L! Since i started using B.L i have met some really lovely people, some are old B.L & some are new B.L, but 90% of people have been really kind, funny, friendly & supportive, just like the way a friend outside B.L would be. I enjoy my time on B.L & i'm so glad that i found it! :)

One problem that i have had is because of when i joined some people really look down on me. I joined in November 2010 & as most people would guess from that date i joined coz of the heroin drought, & boy am i glad that i found this site, it has kept me sane! It really has helped me.

But its not that often that i post outside the heroin threads, that is because sometimes I get bad vibes off the odd poster. I can't remember all the bad comments that have been directed at me since i joined, but one i remember coz it was short & to the point was "Get back to your smack thread" But there has been a good few very similar comments like that sent my way. :( At the time i did protest & argue that i felt each comment was unfair, but i would be told something stupid like i mentioned the word heroin, but i never went off topic, certainly not as off topic as others, its never about topic, its always about my choice of drug. I know that heroin has a bad name, but i'm just a normal girl with a normal job & a normal life, i just choose a different drug to some others. I had thought everyone on B.L would be more open minded. In saying that 90% of B.L is totally open-minded, its just the odd few.....

I'm sure it must be weird for people who have been using this site for up to 10 years when they see it change, but that is just the way life is, always changing, always new faces. I have some good friends outside B.L that i have know for 30 years & i love them dearly! <3 But i also have new friends that i have met in the last 2 years & i love them too! <3 I'm sure its the same for everyone! So i suppose that is what happens on B.L too, old friends & new friends, but no one better then the other, every ones just the same! <3

But i suppose even outside B.L everyone doesn't always get on. & just like in the real world B.L has its own little clicks, but thats just the ways it goes. What i love about this site is the good advice & support that i have got from others, i would have been totally lost without some of the friends that i've made on this site over the last 7 months. <3 & its great to meet all different people from all walks in life. Hopefully the date when i joined B.L won't put to many people off me & maybe the ones that have judged me it the past might give friendship a chance! :)

Old B.L & new B.L its all the same, we've all been living on the same planet for all these years! I'm so glad that i found this site! <3

An like I said in the previous thread, I apologise if anyone feels I in any way added to it, or prolonged it. I am just a jaded old EADDer from a by gone age! Hah! Like that saddo at a rave harking on about how good it used to be!

For the record, there were TONNES of arguments and bitch fights all th time back then! It was hardly some golden era of love!

Tres sorry about my drunken posting last night! I was smashed! Tequila on Tuesday night is not recommended people.

The internet was inherently fun then in a way it isn't now. It's like AC Power or running water to us these days. Yes, you can do fun things with all those things (especially the first two combined) but nothing beats novelty. And all the older posters were younger and more sprightly and hadn't hammered the shit out of their brains with jenkem, mead and Japanese amphetamines left over from world war 2. And it was smaller and probably had more of a kitchen at a party feel about it.

The place got quantifiably better in June 2009.
