I had an idea for a remake from a 50's movie called The Milkman.
I made plenty of notes for it. short of a script.
But the premise is a milkman that goes around selling raw milk door to door.
and the cops tell him you can't sell raw milk.

It's just noted that movies in the 90s were much better than the filth being produced now.
Last good movie I saw was Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

i get the "movies were better before" sentiment, but a blanket statement that there are no - zero - good movies being made any more is just ignorant (literally) nonsense.

My nine year old 4K tv finally got a line of dead pixels through the middle, it's driving the wife and I crazy. Picking up a new 65" LG dolby vision 4k OLED tv on Friday. Gonna be by the movie theater and thinking I'll go see another film at the early bird special.

Any recommendations on what to see?

Super psyched for the 65" w/dolby vision. Got hundreds of 4k uhd blurays but never got to use dolby vision with them Wife will probably start with Lord of the Rings extended trilogy. I'll probably start with Lawrence of Arabia.

i also have the 4k ultra bluray of the fifth element which is visually lush.
