I wear my hair in a kinda doubled-up ponytail, Kate. Tis far too long for a standard ponytail so is sorta... folded in half and tailed up again style o' thing... as it were. Is far easier to do than to explain but far less involved than it sounds.

Mine too. Not a full-on Keeganperm style o' thing but distinctly wavy. Apparently I have hair to make women jealous (according to several exes). This mostly manifests itself as being played with like one of those disembodied plastic heads that girls played with in the 70s/80s 8)

Related, me locks are only as described due to extreme laziness. Have never been to a hairdressers in me puff (other than a proper oldskool barbershop twice around the time me balls dropped to get a "hedgehog cut" which we shall say no more about :|). Spending relatively large amounts of money on getting it cut into shapes that will be gone within days/weeks at best just seems kinda pointless really. That and I wouldn't have the first fuckin' clue what to say to a hairdresser if our paths ever did cross.

PolkaDot: Indeed it can... but Occasional Mrs Shambles was quite specific about the kinda tail she was intrigued by... Even after I told her how it was attached which did raise an initial eyebrow or two :D

I'm not in favour of vaginal douching personally. that's whut all that lovely cervical mucus is for.

the vagoo has a successful system all of its own and it's pretty damn perfect at self cleaning ... internally that is .... externally it needs a little helping hand obviously.

I've heard it's the same for thrush too, and excessive cleaning during a bout of thrush can just exacerbate it and make it worse. can't speak personally about thrush though because I've never had it.

the word douchebag just so 'appens to be my favourite pejorative.

One of my exes got it.

A pessary put it right, but she never really lost the nickname 'Marmite Minge' after that.

He's a gent who astonishned me when he led me to the door and opened it for me.

I think door opening should be kept out of the sexual equality debate.. A man looks like an absolute gentleman when he does it. Threres something quintissentially masculine about it like pissing standing up...

I felt that he had respect for me.

Its very 1930s Cary Grant.. Now would you expect Doris Day to open the door for you?

It would be wrong SHambles.. all wrong and I refuse to back down on this point!

If Doris Day was walking out of a door ahead of me and didn't open it I'd think she was a cunt just the same as if Cary Grant did the same really. It's just common courtesy. Are you saying you'd let a door twat me on the nose just cos you got there first and have a fanny so shouldn't be expected to open the fucker on your own?!? 8o

PS: Leading someone to a door is just plain creepy though surely? Apparently not... Live and learn, eh? :)

^^ this. I feel embarrassed if I let a door slam into someone just as I've managed to squeeze through myself. and that applies to everyone. even bankers. at a push

[edit] I occasionally run ahead and open a door for cripples and SMILFs with prams too ... just cos I hate to see people struggling.
