Where are you headed?

Sounds just the ticket - it'll do you good, especially after the past twelve months.

I really need to do the same, but not having a valid passport at this moment means my potential sojourns are limited to staying with my sister or friends elsewhere in the country or a dirty weekend with some depraved-but-unfussy fellow wino / druggie in a one-horse town. The latter is the preferred option; haven't done that in a while, though in all likelihood a long weekend on a couch will be my only escape from the confines of the M60 this summer.

I think it's just what I need too :D Blast away the noxious stenches with a warm sea breeze (or more likely get shitfaced on local spirits while the raw, singed flesh drops off my back in fist-sized lumps).

When did your passport expire? Or did you just invalidate it with swastikas and 'reisepass' in biro on the front? Hope you get some sort of holidatory activity, I hear it's nice.
 
Yeesh! Did he spot it before the next time he presented it to an official? That could probably get you banged up in some places.
 
I've been sleeping like shit the last few days. When I'm not caught in some crazy hallucinatory limbo, I've been getting the most fucked up dreams about the dark history of John Lewis, involving psychopathic photographer-eating cannibals locked in a vault in his bedroom, an illegitimate girlfriend whom he surgically experimented on incessantly to turn into a mutant porn star for his underground porn kingdom, and shitty motion control mini-games dispersed intermittently throughout the saga.

WHAT THE FUCK.

It's all so fucking horrifically vivid.

EDIT: Obvious comedown is obvious, your happy brain chemicals are on a nightclub floor in Brizzle. Eat well, rest, don't take drugs and the sinister alternative history of the nation's favourite retailer will melt away like... like... like a bad dream. <3
 
Yeah comedown is trolling me for sure. And it is indeed the very same John Lewis. I now know he was never fucking knowingly undersold, the dirty bastard.
 
Morning all. I won't say good morning cos its not, its a fucking wet, damp, drizzly, cold, grey fucking morning and I'm out of weed & milk. Someone told me all of May's gonna be like this, what a sack of shit. Good on you booking a hol Jancrow - I haven't left British soil for years either.

Kate - you can cut the bottom off plastic milk/pop bottles and use them as mini cloches to protect from frost, but you probably knew this. Chuck more beans in and consider it a staggered crop :)

Nice day here. Sun is shining. Nas is blasting out the speakers. There's a fuck off bag of stinky green in the drawer & a wee rolling box sitting within arms reach of where I am right now, which is lying in bed %). Time to skin up & dive outside, probably not as warm as it looks but at least it's dry.

The worst of mornings. Commiserations. I have weed, milk and sunshine so I feel guilty.

I wouldn't place too much stock in medium-to-long term weather forecasts, seeing as 'experts' warned of a long, savage winter not long ago. Though it would be a turn up for the books if it were actually wet for the rest of spring and sunny in summer. As opposed to vice versa, which it's been like for the past decade or thereabouts.

How can such a tiny island such as ours have such varying weather conditions within a few hundred miles? Please, no meteorologists answer that, it was rhetorical. And they wonder why us Brits are obsessed with talking about weather. Rain in summer, sun in spring, cold in the south, warm in Scotland - its all fucked up.
 
ooo, watched the latest episode of Anthony Bourdian's 'No reservations' series last night, which was in Lisbon. Looks awesome jan. lovely old working tram through very narrow and old streets in the centre of the city

OK these cats have definitely got fleas, 6 bites today. I shouldn't have neglected the flea treatment specially not this time of year. Gotta get on top of it before I get an infestation. The fumigators van outside isn't a good look.
 
is it frontline youre using for them? if so, it's nearly half the price of surgery and chemist prices, if you buy it online.
vets and boots or whatever are silly prices
 
I just had something catastrophic happen with my little stash pot full of whizz.
14gs approx, totally unrescuable. fuck, I'm going to have a fun afternoon. already boshed some shitalin and piracitam today, and now some rescued whizz. 14gs LOST on thee floor and down the sink and under people's shoes.

tears are gonna flow. but I guess I'm gonna have a very productive day
