just found my receipt for where I bought mine

frontline - medicanimal

their Drontal Worming pills are cheap as chips too

there's a code for £5 discount on a purchase floating around at the money sites somewhere too. think I found mine @ MSE

in other news, I just had something catastrophic happen with my little stash pot full of whizz.
14gs approx, totally unrescuable. fuck, I'm going to have a fun afternoon. already boshed some shitalin and piracitam today, and now some rescued whizz. 14gs LOST on thee floor and down the sink and under people's shoes.

Pain. :|

Cheers Marmalade. I had a look at an empty box I've got here & it says Frontline Combo. Did a quick Google and it seems the Combo stuff is more effective if you need a proper house/animal treatment rather than just preventative, something to do with the life cycle of the eggs, and is prescription only. Even if you order it online you have to send the script in so I'll do that. They may get shitty about signing the downloaded form but I don't give a shit, they're such rip off merchants. If I stay on top of it i guess i can go back to regular frontline.

Owwch!! I feel for you :(

Just narrowly missed being arrested by the skin of my teeth. Phew! Mate got picked up on a bench warrant, oh dears.

Isn't it darn annoying how pay phones swallow all your money when ringing a mobile and it goes through to answerphone!!! :X Now I have no more money to call a dealer, shall just have to walk around the known scoring areas and hope I bump into people and tag on with them.

Fucucucuccuk, I saw the other day that phoneboxes now cost 60p a go... mental! I imagine you've got enough overheads without having to pay to voicemail people too.

@MMld

Cheers for the linky, I have opened it and it's in my forest of tabs to do something with THIS AFTERNOON.

Dear Gpd BAW.. Get rid of the little critters pronto. I had murders with them last year.

Bob Martin flea bombs are really good if its gone too far.

I know, 60p will get you a 30 min national landline call, but who rings landlines these days. Ringing a mobile you don't even get a minute for a quid, it's ridiculous, I've not been able to top my mobile up for a month, but when I think about it, the money I've spent putting into pay phones to ring a dealer just for a minutes call, I could have topped up my phone, but I've not had the money to do it all in one go.

I get paid tomorrow for the first time in over 4 weeks, I can FIANLLY buy some credit! It's going to be a novelty having free minutes and internet on my phone!

I ring landlines, and I prefer people to ring mine! Not only is it much cheaper, the sound quality is much much better, there's none of this "you're breaking up" nonsense, no "I'm running out of credit" etc... Yes I do like a landline.

You're right actually, I do ring my dad's landline whenever I can, as yes, as you say it's much easier to hear what he's saying, as I ring it long distance and he has poor reception in the sticks where he lives.

I was just meaning that payphones should have a cheaper rate for ringing mobiles, and the option to not swallow ALL, but maybe just a percentage of your money if it goes through to answer phone. More people may use them more often then, it'd be annoying if pay phones were removed from the streets completely in the assumption that everyone has a mobile phone. It's only recently when i've not had phone credit that i've started to rely on them.

I can remember when a call cost 10p.8o My mam used to make me keep an emergency ten pence piece in my purse. This was way back before mobile phones were the norm.

I'm not sure if I have made this up but i'm sure there used to be payphones which wouldn't take your money until you pressed a button which would allow you to speak at which point you heard the coin drop into the machine. If you got through to answer phone/voicemail you just put the phone down and your money came back out.

Yeah, I remember those. I've not seen them in a loong time though, once the person on the other end had answered they used to beep until you put the coins in.

You're lucky if you can find a payphone that takes coins at all round here, they're all credit/debit cards :|

How annoying! I couldn't find one that would take my 20 pences the other day, must have had no change. I'm quite lucky in St Paul's, there's always at least one working phone in no more than a five minute direction from my flat, and surprisingly they're never smashed up!

No you didn't make that up. I think they were typically pay phones in public buildings operated by, for example, the council - I certainly remember this sort of payphone in various schools I've been in. On the other hand I seem to remember they charged more per minute than the BT phones.

Yeah, they did, but unlike BT phones, they were usually on standard residential type lines, which meant you could following the wires to the nearest junction box, pop the top off it, stick in crocodile clips attached to a BT socket and make all the calls you wanted, or charge others to do the same.

Cherry, why don't you do a reverse charge call first to double check the person is answering their phone and then ring with your money? Obviously no dealer in their right mind is gonna accept a reverse charge, but you can hear them pick up and everything while the operator talks.

speak in a polish accent and tell the reverse call operator your name is meetme attescovich or you can send texts online for free if your chap allows that

:sus: <-- i like the new addition
