That's a bit unlucky Mugz. I mean, who hasn't broken into a local school at some point in their teenage years?

My mate broke in to one and got caught by a policeman playing hopscotch in the playground...

Yeah, I was lucky though in that the job that I had just applied for at the time which I was in for just under 4 years I applied for it before I got the caution, but because HR are so shit it came up on the CRB check that they did after I had already started, I had to have a meeting in my first month of worth there to see if they were going to keep me or not, but I managed to keep the job luckily. It proved that if you declare on the application that you have a record that you wont get an intervier with the NHS though, as when I moved to Cambridge for the first 6 months I still had that caution on my record and never got 1 interview until it because spent and I didn't have to declare it.

yeah, it pretty much messed things up for quite a while actually, was back in 2004 when I was drunk and diazed out of my head and met up with two young chavs on the street and we decided to go and break into a local school, which we did successfully, we tried to get into the computer room unsuccessfully and probably luckily as I think if we stole computers then I would have got more than a caution, we did steal a ton of chocolate from the vending machines though. This was just after christmas in 2004, we got away with it too before the police arrived, a policeman caught up with us a few minutes after though and asked us where all the chocolate that I had in my pockets and in my jumper came from, I said it was christmas presents and he let me go but took the other two kids with him as apparently they were foster kids that were known troublemakers. They obviously fessed up in the police car as about half hour later I was about 2 minutes from home and the police car tracked me down and arrested me..

This wasn't The City of Portsmouth Boys' School, by any chance was it?

Nah, it was St. Lukes

Ah right, furry muff. Didn't used to get one well with the St. Lukes lot! I remember hearing about a break in at city boys around about that time. Don't think anything was taken but the whole school was covered in bog roll and graffiti. :D

Someone I know used to work in Springfield before he started working at South Downs. He had a set of keys to the swimming pool and we used to go there nearly every weekend and get all the shit out from the storage rooms. Floats, weights, etc. There was a bit above the pool where they'd keep the canoes and you could go up there and jump in to the deep end. Good times. :)

I went to Admiral, pretty sure it was springfield that our school used to get into lots of fights with, or was it mayfield? It may have even been both, it was just a crime of opportunity, gutted they didn't let me keep the chocolate too, was embarrassing as they took my clothes for evidence too so I had to walk back home the next morning in police isssued clothes and plimsoles. Got the clothes back though. I think it was my mental instability that prevented me getting more than a cautuion as we smashed a few windows and stole from the vending machines,

I am pretty sure that it was the same night that I was arrested and managed to eat a whole strip of blues in the back of the police van whilst handcuffed so that they would have to take me to the hospital, as I passed out in my cell almost as soon as I got in it, I told them when we got to the station that I had just eaten about 140mg of valium and they didn't believe that I had done it whilst handcuffed in the back of a police van but they believed it when I was flat out on the floor in the cell. Sometimes being a bit unstable can work in your favour when it comes to getting let off lightly for crimes. I really should have got more than just a caution.

p.s., I haven't been arrested very many times, only 3 times I think to my knowledge, the school breakin and handcuffed diaz eating were definitely during the same arrest now I think about it more. I was 18 years old then, and here I am now at 26 still taking diazepam, not breaking into any schools anymore though. lol.

p.p.s. good to see another fellow pomponian around, how old are you? Maybe I know you?

Does the NHS consider convictions spent? I would have thought otherwise. When does it become spent?

The caution was unspent for 5 years, when it became spent it didn't show up on the CRB check for the current job that I have. I ithink anything more than a caution is unspent for 10 years though, but don't take my word on this, I could be remembering wrong.

I don't remember there being any shit between Springfield an Admiral Lord Nelson to be honest. There was always arranged fights with Springfield and one of the schools in Widely though. Everyone used to hype it up massively during the day, going on about all the "tools" they were gonna bring and nick hammers and shit from the design and technology block. Then when you'd actually turn up at the hill after school there'd be about 10 people max lol. One or two fights would kick off then everyone would fuck off to go get stoned.

I'm 25, so it's highly likely that our paths would've crossed down town or in Southsea on a weekend at some point.

Thumbs up to Lothian Cats Protection. The brilliant woman there has offered to pay for my male cat to get snipped. Shes covering the full cost. I couldnt even afford the PDSA donation.

I sincerely hope the git wont keep pissing everywhere now.

Thanks for the link effie :) me and angelsmoke were debating about how to find the stats and order the members of bluelight in order of most posts a couple of weeks ago, it is a feature of the forum software. just disabled to us lowly non-mods. lol.

there used to be a sneaky way to just get a link to the memberlist then click a button to arrange it by number of posts, think it was available to everyone just after the upgrade, then swiftly taken away.
