I'm shit at dancing, it was more of a k two step stomp at raves for me! If you count that I've danced in many fields! Not up to much l, just having a few cans and heading down the local with my mates in a bit
 
Amnesia House I used to live in the Midlands, Coventry had a pretty good scene going early on, people came from far and wide, sad that the Cov scrotes fucked the whole thing up after the Eclipse turned into The Edge and everything got "moody"....

Interdance at Sterns I lived in the SE for a while, Sterns was always rockin :)

Also went to a couple of the World Dance events at Lydd airfield...

Then, about 92-93 all the music and events started to fragment, I got into techno, "psychedelic trance techno" was a big scene in Birmingham about 94ish I think, lot of free parties round the old industrila areas, fucking great sounds, but I reckon that's when the glory days of rave and all just gettin off our chops to the same music started to come to an end...suddenly there were different events for diferent genres, shame really.....

Yeah Coventry was bangin went to the Eclipse twice n thats a long way to go from Bath.
 
Ah, Die Hard in Coventry, I thought that sounded familiar. Think one of me old muckers off uk.music.rave used to go there. Any other UMR'ers in the place?
 
Dancing for the sake of dancing (when the music is shite) is horrible. You cannot force it. I have mates who'll say "coming to go on the dancefloor" when you're in a shite club or the musics gash and I can't do it. What's the point?
 
Is very true Spade, you got to feel it in ya.....sometimes the music can be quite gash but the drugs and the vibe are right, and it works anyway....

True. I just think it's amazing they got away with that on TV at that time of the day. I think Shamen did Ebeneezer Goode on TOTP as well lol.

Nowadays they censor fuck our of everything on TV, radio & often Youtube. I think I've even heard Oasis being cut on the radio with "All your dreams are made, when you're chained to the mirror & the razorblade".
 
1st time i went i was 15 no ticket or owt , got the Bus to the site with me pal, n went about trying to get in.

Got in said Car park thought it was the festival n got really exited only to realise that it was The Car Park .

No worries scaled both the fences n were in n much fun was had.
So i can relate to the car park bit.8(
