Erm... it wasn't premeditated though, it was something I actually said in a post as a bitchy snipe about an acquaintance.

I'm sure half the 'punters' are either familiar with Rimbaud, don't care or might actually look it up and see what the joke was. Half the joke was it was a pretentious title to begin with. There are many levels of irony at work in EADD at the best of times.

Though those who opposed (you) did so because it me look like I was going out of my way to look all erudite and literary, which is what really got up your nose. Just admit it. :)

A girl I met at the weekend had her own crappy 'personality test' which involved questions like "Are you more Bob Dylan or Leonard Cohen?" (I chose LC) and "Who was better, Sylvia Plath or Ted Hughes?".

My answer? Took a drag on a cig, looked thoughtful for a second, smiled and said "Lou Reed". She didn't know how to answer that.

Maybe you had to be there, but we're on the same (or at least a similar) track I feel.

I only get a long weekend every 3 weeks, :(

And managed to deliver every packet today, clambering round back of houses, chucked 2 packets up through someones open upstairs bedroom window, scaling fences, breaking into outside lavs/sheds...all gets delivered, is a bit like Royal Marine assault course, but tougher....

To be fair she did have to put up with whatever I was saying on 2C-B and speed, and talking to me in general. Still shocking though.

I used to have my own personality test - "Joy Division or New Order?". Don't get me wrong - I like both, but if they answered 'Joy Division' then I'd steer well clear.

I've said I'll do an hour or so long mix of "Spooky Techno" (not my words lol) for my pal's Halloween party as some of the suggestion her & her mates are coming up with are horrendous. For example - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKw0zCsm6wM I mean, what the fuck even is that? The only thing spooky about it is how shite it is & it is certainly not my defnition of techno It's what I'd call Electro-Pish.

Anyway, anyone got any suggestions for tunes I can include in this Halloween techno mix? Bear in mind I like my techno about 128bpm & GOOD! The only tune I've got planned for it so far is Dubfire's mix of Radio Slave - Grindhouse. Gonna have a rake through my music collection now & see what else I can come up with.
 
I have been in London, hens me not posting here much over the last few days. I was on my way home today, got to the enterance of Piccadilly Station and heard loads of sirens, turned around and about 5 police dog vans turned up and started to unload fast. One of the dogs jumped out of the van ang got away from the handler, running straight for me. Now I don't exactly know what the sign is that they give when they smell drugs, but from what I have seen on TV this dog gave the signal about my right pocket!

I shit it as I had a teenth of brown in that pocket! Played it as cool as I could and dropped my walking stick on the floor so I only had one and grabbed the dogs collar as if I was stopping him running any further. The handler came over, picked my stick up for me before swapping it for the dog, they then thanked me before running off to catch the rest of them up!

I absolutly shit myself!

dunno what's spoooky sounding to me might not be to you......
 
Brimz, forgot it was in there, was meant to be nicely tucked away in my bag, still not ideal I know but safer than my pocket!

Was z close call but I'm pleased I wasn't too high to think quickly enough!
