Adyra by Duoteque. The dude who wrote it was inspired by Jaws. I've seen this tear dancefloors to pieces a few times, once it drops into all that super harshness in the middle people tend to lose it a bit.
 
anybody here about the rumour that the Stone Roses getting back together.just got a text of a mate about it.he reckons skynews had a story today.
 
Heard it. It's just a rumour. All that has happened is a major PR company has called a press conference for Tuesday with some news about some band. They won't say who it is. They've also apparently took out a full page ad in The Sun, presumably to advertise a tour. Fuck knows why people seem so adamant that it's The Stone Roses though.

Has anyone had a listen to the new M83 album ? Ive flicked through but not had a proper listen it doesn't seem great so far for me was hoping it would be good
 
Can't see the Roses getting back together, last I heard Squire and Brown still hadn't talked for years. Would be very cool if true though, King Monkeys solo stuff is still brilliant and diverse so with Squire et al back at the helm things could surely only get better.
 
Apparently Squire & Brown are back on speaking terms after meeting at Mani's maw's funeral.

The rumour is just that they'll reform for two live shows in Manchester. Not that they'll actually be back together doing new music. I still doubt it though, Mani has been quoted saying it will never happen, as has John Squire. Squire even said something like it's tragic when bands do that.
 
^yeah I love Ian Brown's solo stuff too, think I prefer it to the Roses now, but for their time they were reallly something else....

mate of mine bought a ticket like this in a joke shop.on the back it says this is a joke-not real etc but has a €100 000 win on it.

he bought 2 real cards in the shop then scratched the 3 of them in the pub.fuckin place went mental when he did the lucky 3rd one.

was having a cracking wend off it till his seperated wife rang him looking for her share and didnt belive him when he said it was only a joke.

I rekon its b/s cos its the 100,000 top prize card yet its a £50,000 win , just sounds weird , might be true though.

Re. The Roses , i hope they don't bother tbh , leave the legacy as it was , Mani s with The Scream Full Time now as well

Aye, £100,000 appears to be the top prize on the card but there is nothing to say you can win the top prize and only the top prize on scratch cards.

Nothing weird about someone winning 50 grand on a 100 grand card. Lucky cunt, yes, but suspicious no IMO.
 
Even the Roses just getting back together and doing a tour or some shows would be good. Browns solo stuff vs Stone Roses stuff is a tough one, the Roses tunes are all absolute anthems but there's a very limited amount of them with the solo stuff he keeps on releasing fresh new tracks and hasn't had a bad album. Every album is veryy different too but with that distinctive Ian Brown feel to it.
