Fucking word. Those things are frightening. I don't think I'd have the baws to get on a night bus in a strange city, in fact I wouldn't even get on one round here now. I can afford a taxi.

I have had two different student flatmates at different points in my life (one male, one female) & I've seen both, on more than one occasion, eating this jakey delicacy. Usually while I've been phoning in a £15 takeaway =D Fuck students!
 
I think the first season of Breaking Bad was shown on one of channel 5's spin off sky channels, hardly all over the TV.

it was on plenty of channels Sky one i think then all the Channel 5 ones , i was suprised that such a good show hadn't been picked up earlier thats all.

haha, I think the recipe is in the Jakie Oliver Student Cook Book

But I'm happy to not be the only one out there who has had to resort to eating this faux meal that is so bland and void of nutrients that a starving Ethiopian would likely turn it down in favor of chewing on a lump of crusty dung.
 
I remember last summer in my pals old flat we used to just sit all day constantly smoking full grass blunts, there was no food in the house appart from stale bread so we would just made about 10 slices of fried bread and cover them in chili flakes. If I get baked enough any food will do.
 
So is this Breaking Bad any good?

Totally changing the subject, the dressings on the three key holes that they went in through on Thursday on my belly are already annoying me and they have to be left on for around 5 days! They are stinging too underneath, that can't be good can it. They went in through my stomach to operate on a tendon or two in my groin. I woke up this morning, went to the toilet and absolutely shit myself (metaphorically speaking of course!) as I looked down and saw that one side of my nut sack was completely purple and black with bruising. Phoned my physio, the one who put me forward for the surgery, in a state of shock straight awayto see if it was normal and after a bit of piss taking he finally assured me that it was fine. Good of them to tell me to expect that really wasn't it. I know that it's close but I was expecting the bruising on my groin and hip but not my sack!
 
Just realised it's officially my 11th bluelight anniversary.

God how time flys. Wonder if bl will still exist in another 7. Will be able to have 18th birthday party all over again. =D

pretty sure B Bad was on something like the Scyfy channel or something equally small before it was on any of the main channels in the uk much later.

I remember seeing an ad for it and thinking, shit, no-one's gonna know about this series, what a travesty

Thanks YPDH :) I have (and I promise this is what the doctor told me to do) tight boxer shorts on and a pair of rolled up socks shoved down there to create a makeshift pressure bandage!
 
have you got spare opsite/post-op plasters to put on your keyholes?

not sure why they itch, since in my experience that doesn't normally start until the wound starts drying/knitting [more like 7-10days], but if theyre still water tight, then they should be ok.

good luck with your recovery!
 
Yeh I have some spares but they told me to only change them if it looks like they are no longer water tight or are heading that way or if there is a lot of blood / ooze coming through. As they are still very much stuck to me and there is only one spot of blood one one of the wounds I think that I should leave them be. I think the main itching / stinging is coming from an area that is slightly swollen and where I'm sat up it kind of folds a bit. Meh I just need to man up I think!!!!
