How was subwubwubwubwubdub Monsta? Is it still as dodgy as ever or have they packed it out with students and alcopops like so many of the best nights have ended up doing?

Was lush fanx :) Spent most of my time in room 2 (Remarc and Benny Page? Yes please ;)).
It definitely felt less dodgy than the Windy could be at times, but there were no Alcopops in sight and I don't know what a student looks like these days so I couldn't tell you =D

I'm guessing moving it away from Chapeltown would do that! I think the key question here is: Can you smoke bud openly?! :D

A positive drug story:
I didn't spend stupid amounts of money on drugs and nor did I take too much. I didn't make any bad decisions and practiced harm reduction to the best of my ability. Amazing. Honestly, amazing.

Yes quite true, not the most wonderful areas of Leeds =D
Welllll a few people were but it was all very toke-toke-hush-hush ;)

I'd even dare to guess that we all do.

Well done man.

I've had a horrible night. Ended up back to A&E at 5am, catheter full of blood and very sore. Complete waste of time no specialists from the urology dept would see me til Monday, given some gell and a script for DHC and sent back home. Awoke to find my whole bed soaked in blood this morning. Actually had it with the hospital, I've not even had it explained to me how they fucked up putting the catheter in or why it has to stay for 3 weeks.. or how to change the bags.

If it wasn't for the fact they saved my life I would honestly take them to court.

Fucking hell rockstar :\ I hope they sort out a urology specialist in quick sharp and generally sort their act out man.

You and me both mate. The NHS direct type doctor I saw last night even said it was pretty out of order the lack of information I've been given.

Hows your birthday going anyway? Any plans for today/tonight? Hope you have a good one man :)

Ahh well atleast said doctor recognises the failure, suppose that's something.

It's nice thanks :) Just lying about, recovering from Friday / Saturday's escapades and relaxing :)

Does anyone know where is good in or around London to live? I'm having trouble finding 2 bed flats for less than £1k a month and they are still super small. Who the hell pays that on rent... Do they think i've got cunt tattooed on my forehead or something!? That's enough to pay 2 mortgages on 2 bed flats in Leeds.

Not the best suggestion i've had so far ^ I shall now be getting this tattooed on my forehead:

I just thought there might be alright areas to live in for reasonable amounts. I wouldn't mind spending 1k a month if it was nice... maybe somewhere just outside of London? Even Bristol seems a little pricey.

^^^

Best to look at the train routes and travel costs, I live near the thames link rents are lower here but you have to take into account the season ticket price. I looked at a couple of jobs in london but I wouldnt want to live there for lots of reasons

you could find a decent place for half that in bristol, commute is going to be a bitch though if you're working in london, as bristol is about just over an hour and a half away if your doing 70mph all the way.

I commuted from bristol to london for a month a couple of years ago, and even on a motorbike (traffic dodger!) it was still painful as fuck, never again.

where in bristol? you can live in the best parts (i.e. walking dist to gloucester rd, st andrews park and stokes croft, which is all you need ever) for less than £300 a month, though a 2 bed place may be difficult.... wouldn't commute to london though. there are decent jobs elsewhere. even if you have to move further than expected. i'd move continents before moving to london, even if the rents the same wherever i end up, at least i'd be having more of an adventure.

Where would be good in Bristol then? I won't be commuting into London very often, it's more to do with living near London for stuff to do. Plus I want to be in the South, I find winters are unbearably grim up here.
