Face book is just an attention seeking piece of shit tbh , i cant understand why people have the urge to post up their every little thing they do in their private life , the only thing i can think of is as i say attention seeking shite

"oh he cheated on me"

then goes back to

"i love him"

then a week later a message from same person saying to BF

" you lying cheating bastard! "

and the relationship status changes to single

then 30 mins later a new message comes up

" i love you "

another relationship status changes to " in a relationship "

and all this repeats for months and months

all it does is show how shitty a relationship that person is in and people are fucking sick of fucking hearing about it

My my mate stopped talking to me cos i didnt reply to her status update of being engaged after a year of all the kind of messages i just posted

Sorry but if she thought i was going to actually think it was a good idea of getting engaged to someone after posting all that shit for over a year she must be insane

Then 2 months down the line the same fucking thing happened and repeat

" back together"

" fuck you liar"

blah blah blah

its sad and pathetic !!!!

Anyway mate u know you will get over her and will be glad one day and realise that you are better off

facebook is awful for relationships. its basically 'air your dirty laundry in public' book. the number of people who go from engaged to single. get married then keep changing their last names back and forth. keep bugging my boyf to get on there so i can be in a relationship with him then he points out we can have a relationship in real life instead.

got dumped on facebook before the guy did it to my face once. he claimed it was to make sure he went through with it. wanker. must not start rant about this guy.

also got ordered to delete every picture of myself in an album containing pictures of anyone i'd ever had any sort of sexual relations with by a very jealous guy.

either defriend or get her posts off your wall so you only have to see her profile in the right state of mind.

Besides which, for an FB message to be in any way more instant than say for example an email, the recipient would have to be logged in to Facebook from the word 'go' anyway. Are the people you're contacting unable to tear themselves away from Facebook?

I always used to love pointing out to people who claimed to only log into their FB accounts when they received a notification message that they could easily cut out the middleman if they're only going to be logging in when they get an email. I either got deaf ears or the grin of the newly enlightened. Oh well.

I cant answer the question about the need for people needing to instantly message back and forth because i personally only look about once or twice a month and if any of my friends or family from abroad have sent a message i will reply then look back in a couple of weeks time just the same as i do with my e-mails, i dont check them daily either which i regreted today when i found an e-mail from a mate today telling me about a job he had recommended me for

Another reason i guess i find it easier to use facebook is beacuse when i first joined and used it regularly i found it easier to add all my friends and family by searching for their names and seeing their photo which you cant do with e-mails

So now i have all the people i would want to message there while i dont know their e-mails

but all these pathetic apps that are on it about people asking and answering questions about you and if u want to know what they said u have to do the same i just find it a fucking invasion of privacy and it pisses me off

and as i said i cant be arsed with stupid messages people post on their walls so i just avid all that crap

My ex and i were still in love when we finished but we just couldnt make it work and decided to split but we kept talking to each other all the time and it just made it worse all the time

One day i decided it had to stop cos i was just getting my self all emotional every time i spoke to her

After i stopped the contact things started to get much better for me until i finally got over her

Also what helps imo is finding things that you hated about the person , liek arguments etc and thinking about them rather than the good things ,, it will make u realize your better off without her
