Just opened this topic and saw this. Psycrowdelica, a 3 day dark psy festival in germany is at the end of this month (29 to 31 juli); it has both kindzadza and psykovsky in the line up and about 20-30 other great dark psy producers. I already have my ticket; can't wait :D I'm anticipating deep psychedelic unsanity and I reaaally like that. I'm very exited.

Luckely to pass the time up to then there's also a small local illegal dark psy rave this weekend not far from my home so yay to dark. Should be more parties and festivals of dark psy in my area, but they're incredibly rare for some reason, all psy people seem to play and want to hear is progressive and I don't even like progressive. Don't like minimal either and am not too fond of full on either.

I really only like dark; or tekno with a K, like that a lot too, but out of psy just dark psy and it's my favorite genre of electronic music. Wish more people shared that opinion so more parties would occur.

I have just watched a few clips on youtube from previous Psycrowdelica parties, and I am literally hypersalivating =D I really really want to go to one. That is like, totally up my alley.

I am very lucky that in Sydney there is a wide love and appreciation for darkpsy <3 A lot of my mates are DJs who specialise in darkpsy, and at all the psy parties we have here, there is always the deep dark depths of darkpsy being played at 3-5am in the morning %)

I've got the same issue here in california, no very many dark psy parties. It seems like most psy parties are full on. Luckily the progessive scene here is picking up as I tend to like prog more than full on. But yeah, dark is very lacking here. Psycrowdelica looks amazing. Awesome lineup.

nice mix with plenty of goa trance :)

imho the (too?) frequent transitions between goa trance and are sometimes a bit harsh (with different focus on melodies/atmospheres vs. bassline+kick). when i try to mix tunes (which usually turns out absolutely horrible ;) ) i like to put some newschool goa or tracks from around 1999/2000 in between to make it flow better.

Yeah i had a listen through a good 5 - 6 times now, im agreeing with you.
that mix was even with Harmonic mixing, they went up and down the scales each track. E.g

I started at 5a went to 6a, 7a, 8a 9a back down to 8a and so on.
new to it but i will keep practising and listening to the music
