Post a pic of your awesome tattoo RIGHT HERE!!!

Dude, I dont even know what Four X is

But im more referring to the solidarity, nationalism and southern cross debate

im sure you have apoint, but what that point is? fuck knows. people from countries that bear a southern cross on their flag live in Australia. some of these people get tattoos depicting the southern cross. some of these people may or may not be patriotic Australians. they chose the cross cause it's on the flag. GET ME THE PRIME MINISTER. NOW.

Your all entitled to your opinion...

Im a proud Aussie and i show this in many ways and yes i decided to get the Southern Cross tattoo on my body i could care less how many other people have it aswell, and i couldnt really give a shit if you liked it or not. To me the Southern Cross represents Australia, the other countries that have it on their flag too im sure think it represents them... Well why not?? It's on their flag. It is what it represents to the person

Can I just say that after reading the last few pages no one has expressed any opinion saying that the southern cross tattoo is wrong, silly, useless or a symbol for anyting other than its commonly accepted association.

Busty is just saying that the Southern Cross is not unique to just Australia from an astronomical point of view nor with regards to national symbolism. He isnt disputing its association.

Sure there are many countries that have the Southern Cross in their night sky and some of those countries have elected to use that symbolism for their nation, whether that be as a part of a flag or an a general symbol.

Discussions on using the Southern Cross as a tattoo design is fine but unless your point is related directly to tattoos either leave it out or address each other directly using PM

Cheers

And i dont have a photo of it, but there is the Capricorn sign on the back of my neck

^i luv the butterfly
i dont hav any pics cos ive got a lousy camera and scanner and am not too computer-savvy
my tattoos r:
-green anime-style dragon on my belly
-arabian horse jumping thru a ring of fire on my left arm
-magic mushrooms wiv a banner wrapped round the bottom reading 'pinelodge maverick' (said arabian horses name) on my right arm, the significance being that maverick is kept on the edge of aucklands woodhill forest and we used to ride thru there hunted for psilocybe aucklandii shrooms quite successfully there
next tattoo in plan will b the snake logo on metallicas black album (im a snake fan and a metallica fan) but i hav yet to decide on its location.....back maybe?

My sublime sun

My sublime backpiece. Pic taken with an iPhone so the colors are more vibrant in reality

I was there around 6-7 times. Each time between 3 and 4 hours long. I´d say somewhere between 20-24 hours. Cost me $1300. It was done at Skin Deep Tattoo in Karlstad, Sweden

b-boy - that has got to b one of the coolest tattoos ive ever seen!

Glad you like it, i´m actually expanding it now with even more sublime artwork. I´m taking the artwork from the back of the "sublime" album and putting it around the sun. I´ll keep you posted, right now there´s only some outlines done but i could upload that as well.
Got my overarms done as well but those tattoos are over 10 years old so even though they´re cool i´m almost embarresd to show them off now that i got this shiny new backpiece!

Those of your that don't like colourful tattoos, can I ask why? I hear that opinion a lot. I much prefer the super colourful ones, but I'd like to understand the contrasting viewpoint.

Cant really explain. I'm more of a black/grey person, I do like colours in sleaves but not usually single peice tattoo's although i do find some colour tat's outstanding, like b-boy456's sublime sun
I guess it's just what appeals to me, got no idea why....

It just comes down to the individuals preference. I like any tattoo that has been done well. Whether they're colored or black and white.
