please school me on dxm, got some questions

im going to try dxm tomm for the first time. im quite exerienced with drugs and have been wanting to try dxm as well. im suprised how high of a dose all you guys are reccomending. im going to start at 150mg's and go from there. i dont want to go all crazy my first time, i just want a little taste of it for my first time.

u know i dont know what level of plateau i reached, but i was fucked up, i kept a wet hand towel over my head, head constantly felt warm, but i did what yall said, laid down in a dark setting, listened to music, didnt feel any type out of body experience or hallucinations, i just had double vision, felt liked i was walking on clouds, that waspretty much it...for 7 bucks, and a long high, its cool, but nothing great

If that's all you got out of 700mg, then honestly DXM probably isn't for you. Doses in that range are almost certainly neurotoxic. People sometimes try to argue that because Onley's lesions have not been proven in humans (which is true), that it should be fine, but the evidence that DXM use is damaging to the human brain is overwhelming.

is it dangerous to do it often, like if i choose to do it a couple times a week, not every week but a couple times shouldnt have any negative effects on my brain would it?

DXM is absolutely dangerous to do often, and if you start doing it a "couple times a week", it won't be long before you start to notice memory impairment, and if that usage pattern becomes a habit that you keep up for more than a short time, clinically significant cognitive damage is not out of the question.

"Responsible" use of DXM, if there is such a thing, means not using it more than once a week, and not continuing to use it after the most desirable effects (visuals, OBE's etc.) have stopped, which they always do because of the nature of NMDA antagonist tolerance.

i think next time, im gonna take a vicodin with it, and a valium maybe too, ill push the envelope to reach a better high

Be careful with your dosages. Taking 3 CNS depressants can easily cause severe respiratory depression.
