Oh my God yes. I've tripped acid at many a social gatherings without mentioning it. Those who were privy usually caught on and would make jokes to fuck with me or ask for some themselves. But the straight edge people, if they found out, they were always fuckin' weird. Asking weird shit like, "How's your trip going?" And I'm fuckin' tripping so I don't even know how to respond to such a query, and then they would act weird about it, or think I was rude as fuck or too far gone kinda thing. But I just legitimately hate making conversation with sober folks on drugs. *shivers at the thought*
Easy question, 'going great man' *big smile*. At least they mean good too. But yeah, still depends if you're with friends or random people.

Gets more difficult when they ask 'why' or something hahah.

But I'm really not like this, I love to talk while tripping, you think so much more about the actual conversation and what it's about. Acid might fuck a little too much with my short term memory for it, but otherwise I'm all for it.

2C-P seems absolutely baller btw, really wish it made a comeback, the reports make it seem like one of the most intense psychedelics.
You can count me in, once did an all nighter reading all of the 2C-P erowid reports, some crazy stuff in there.

I am quite social often when I trip, Doing it at music festivals a whole bunch has helped, but those people are generally trippers too. It takes practice. The last few years I have been around a ton of cool people mostly all the time, through the music and just where I live. I don't meet many totally straight-edge people these days. ;)

That sounds like an intense ride.

Been meaning to try 4-AcO-DET again at some point i have quite a bit of the stuff. Had me a little on edge that afternoon and i ended up mixing in 4-HO-MET i believe to change the course. I'm sure that MXE will potentiate it to strong degree. Gotta get my hands on some 4-HO-DET for comparison at some point, heard it's a bit less dark. Found the experience rewarding but far from recreational.

Ended up being a pretty insane trip. When I'd close my eye I'd get completely sucked into these other worlds; It'd feel like hours went by but it'd only be 5-10 mins. I had pretty powerful synesthesia. I meant to notes this time but ended up not feeling like doing it during the trip

Yesterday I thought I'd give phenibut a try. I've got an important phone call coming up, which I'm horrible with, and I have a week to figure out whether it would be advantageous to use phenibut to help for that.

I've read the Xorkoth guide, which is why I'm posting it here. Because of the time constraint I jumped in at 750mg. I have no idea what the fuzz is all about, felt like just a slight weight in the head. Put myself in a stressful situation to see whether that's what was missing, but no positive effect on functioning observed.

Could I be doing something wrong? Do I try 500mg or 1000mg tomorrow?

750mg is a small dose, unlikely to produce much for most people. If you didn't feel anything much, you might try 1500mg next time (tomorrow at the earliest, or the next day even better), that is unlikely to be too much and for many people is perfect. Try taking it in 2 doses separated by an hour, 1000mg and then 500mg. It takes 4-6 hours to reach full effect.

Watch out on jumping higher on the dose.

500mg just made me a little tired, I once tried just over a gram, was hanging out with some friends, but I felt so sick, so I went home asap. There I only could lie in my bed, unable to sleep, kinda 'fainting' in and out, having a headache and just being extremely uncomfortable. Never again, felt no positive effects from it at all, even at lower dosages. It seems like some people love it while others see it as the most useless drug.

That's what I was afraid of. I can afford to waste a day, so I will try the 1500mg. If nothing interesting happens I'll wrap up the experiments.

Thanks for the warning, Buzz.

Certainly varies a lot. Been taking it daily for two years and 500-750mg of HCl is right on the mark for me. Used to take one to two grams, but I was getting these unpleasant zaps while falling asleep.

The most pronounced effect is strong euphoria when listening to music. I don't notice any anxiolytic effect or muscle relaxation like benzos.

Just weighed out 23mgs 2C-D to take as i enter the Electric Zoo and im gonna preload with a 20mg THC gummy bear. Not gonna drink any Alcohol all day and buy a big bottle of water when i get there. Last time i took 30mgs and had a really strong trip but I'm trying to go a little less far out there.

The Synergy between the Oral Cannabis and Phenethylamine will surely connect me to the Vibe there. I've been Dope Sick the past few days but i havent thrown up and feel pretty decent. Took 24mgs of Buprenorphine so it will hopefully be enough to keep me well through the day.

Keep it Swirly ? ✨

Nice, Charlie, have fun. :)

Wow, really? I don't get relaxation but I get strong anxiolysis. I mean I guess it's in a totally different way from benzos though. It's more like it reframes everything in my mind to seem positive and not worth worrying about. I can still be really anxious on it if something is anxiety-producing enough but little thing just totally stop bothering me because I realize they're little things not worth worrying about.

It's really a very interesting drug. I took it daily for a year back in 2005/2006. Got pretty bad withdrawals when I ran out and couldn't get more. Took a couple years off, then started doing it every other day, eventually got myself a dependence there, then dropped to every 3 days, had light withdrawals when I jumped off. Then started using it again because I got myself addicted to GHB briefly and used it to get off... took about 8 months to reduce and jump off. Now I use it once a week max because it's the best thing in the world for playing music, I will always play my best on phenibut, it makes me fearless on stage and also feel extremely inspired, a great combination. It's odd because every other drug I love (and phenibut is in the top 5 drugs of all time for me for how reliably it produces really useful and pleasant effects), I struggle to not abuse, but phenibut, probably because of the extremely long onset of action, is entirely not moreish for me and even when I've been withdrawing from it I find it easy to stick to my intention for dosing schedule.

Wonderful stuff. Seems like it doesn't work well for everyone though. I used to think it was just that they never figured out how to dose it but I think gabapentinoids just don't produce desirable effects for everyone. Phenibut is more than just a gabapentinoid, but it's its primary effect until you hit high doses.

I haven't been to see a "big" act in quite some time. I missed Phish this year because I was playing a music festival. I saw Paul Simon last year, which was incredible. I see a lot of really talented local/regional bands pretty much every weekend and often host them - we usually know people where we're playing in our 3 state region, and often a band will open for us or we'll open for them that's from out of the region so we'll have them come to a friend's house to spend the night for free and we'll all chill/party.

I have a CD of the Avalanches, I really like it. I forget which one off the top of my head. Never seen any sort of act like that.

I am a bit worried about being on it all the time.. I would like to just use it on weekends.

I was taking 250mg caps for a while and that was actually just enough. I listen to music all day and night, and I hate to say this, but I'm a bit worried music won't be the same without it.

I'll try stepping down slowly, spacing doses out more and more. Hopefully it will be okay.

Anyway, hope everyone is having a good weekend!

The album 'since I left you' is a masterpiece IMO. It took 15 years to release another. 'Wildflower'. It was worth the wait. I put the album on when I first tried DOC, and floated back to 2001, listening to bootleg tapes of their radio mixes for KCWR and BBC1 to escape the tyranny of high school. Good times.

Today has been Dope still tripping pretty strong.
This place is packed, the costumes and half naked women everywhere, its nutz. The stages and lights are super tripped out and music is amazing.
Deff doing this again next year and dosing higher.

Face is getting sore from smiling so much ?

About to send in a sample of the DOF I have that is the same DOF source as all the existing recreational TRs are, to get lab analyzed as part of participation in a study I'm in. We'll soon have verification it is what it was represented as. Will do the same with the DOiP and DOPr... as far as I know the DOPr on blotters that went around in the past few years is all from the same source too. Looking forward to being able to verify a bunch of these new chems that only have a single source... gonna do the 4C-D and BOD also.

Ah yeah that's the one I have (Since I LEft You). It's awesome. Electronic music generally isn't my thing, I find it pretty boring much of the time, but those guys do it right.

That's the best! :)

Weird thing to say, no?
I don't really make that large of a distinction between electronic music and non-electronic. The thing is, with electronic music, the possibilities are pretty much endless, while with playing instruments there might not be as much freedom. I find most popular electronic music boring as well, and just not fun to listen to, but if don't particularly dig deeper most of the things you hear is the aforementioned 'popular' music. The possibilities are endless, and there are probably loads of things you would absolutely love as well.

Sometimes it's best when the two are combined. Recently saw this band while tripping hard on 2C-E, and I had checked their souncloud beforehand, which was more of nice chill jazz, psychedelic rock vibe. I enter, and it's an absolute assault of sounds, was like some sort of metal, techno, jazz combo which sounded completely nuts lol, craziest concert I had ever seen (2C-E might have helped ;) ) man those guys were going to town on their instruments. Hardest one at that festival too, and I went to party... I got like this Egyptian/mammoth hunting vibe the whole time, couldn't hold it together, it was very funny at the time. This recording might not fully do it justice but hope you guys still enjoy :D

I don't think it's weird, I just find that I can never get as into music that isn't being played by people on instruments. It's probably because my entire childhood and teenage years were spent playing acoustic music, so my idea of music was developed that way. I just find electronic music almost always less engaging. I'm not trying to disrespect it as an art form or anything, it's just been my experience.

But yeah as a result of my bias I have explored electronic music less, so I'm sure you're right that there's tons of stuff I've never heard that I'd like.

But yeah, combining the two areas is something I am really into. My drummer in one of my bands uses a lot of synths and I fucking love it. I saw Emancipator once and he had people playing violin and other instruments to accompany him, it was awesome.

From what I understand, from the various Europeans I know, is that the electronic music scene and general love for/preference for electronic music is way more prevalent there than it is in America.
