P&S Alternative Theories thread v. orange tang

quantum theory says that in at least one possible timeline this discussion will persist forever, until the heat death of the universe.

Right, but you know what's even more puzzling than that?

That each timelime supposedly have many variations to them. So in this Timeline 1 we were suposed to be on variation 83, of Timeline 1. That was one were Hillary Clinton was set to be President and several nuclear worlds would be started. But then we changed over to a more positive one.

Think I'm starting to get the hang of this timeline stuff now. It seems to be something like they look into a big holographic screen, or "looking-glass", that takes on a kaleidoscopic form that shows several different versions of the future, and then they calculate the probability of what is going to happen based on that. At least the best explanation I've heard so far, but this would be from a physical and not spiritual standapoint.

Those who pretend to be in the know and that pretty much sums up all I know of it.

Ok, I guess I should make this update as I started this thread.

It seems as though, or the same sources claim, the predicted process won't go ahead like we were told.

There was supposed to be a public diclosure through media-outlets before the mass-landings, so people would be prepared, and they would start taking people up into their ships and give them the assistance needed to ascend.

But now they're saying we've moved into a better time-line (anyone else notice all the mentions of alternate timelines in spiritual articles these days?) where this won't be necessary, as we can ascend for ourselves on Earth. And first then will we begin to experience contact. Although some more advanced beings may be taken up earlier. This is apparantly seen as a great achievement on our part, something to do with developments in the mass consciousness.

I have to admit I was never quite able to imagine the disclosure/mass landing scenario, before it would actually happen, but there were so many adamant sources I thought it might be a distant possibility.

Here is an article from one of the most reliable sources I think explains it best right now:

http://lightworkers.org/channeling/201293/father-god-new-ascension-path

I'm guessing this will be it for a while.

Reliable source?

I think we have two different meanings for the word "reliable".

Is that post supposed to be from an alien?

Oh no wait.. it's a post from God..

Fuck me Ninae.. you believe this shite?

Fuck me, why don't you just ignore it if it's not your thing? It's not meant for someone like you. I don't get involved in all the postings I don't relate to.

There are good channelers and channeled material out there. And if you had read that through carefully you might have noticed it comes from a very high level of inteligence and insight with a very high spiritual vibration. Let me see you match that, or just string together a sentence like that, and we'll be even.

Fuck me, why don't you just ignore if it's not your thing? It's not meant for someone like you.

Have you ever wondered that "maybe" (just maybe...) people don't want YOU here? Time on time you come back and run into conflict by proposing some new crazy idea. You ignore any feedback of other people and continue your own majestic monologue. IMO, you just waste the time of people; a lot of members are often in the false belief that their advice or point of view might influence you... but this is hopeless. The starting point and ending point of all your threads is the same: there is no contributed value.

TBH, I cannot see what good you have brought to this community? Nobody takes your wild theories serious (you know that right?). You have only scared away people.

Maybe you should look for a more "suited community" to discuss your ideas. This is just a honest piece of advice. I think it would be more fruitful for you to discuss your ideas with more like-minded people (preferrably people who don't charge you money for it... [sic.])

Think about it: it is common sense. I am not member of a "fundamental Christians" board either and post every week a thread about homosexuality. That would not make sense, neither will I convince any of the people there. Nobody would really want me there.

Just because she or they are good writers doesn't mean they speak the truth.

I've read some of the material you have posted, and while in parts I find wisdom, these predictions just make me shake my head. I'll believe it when I see it, and as I predicted, these predictions didn't pan out, and now they are attempting to justify it, cleverly.

Reality I guess is what you can get away with. What I see here is someone dancing around truths (the people you get this information from, and), but using them, kind of like how a child make believes, wanting other children along for the ride.

You don't think it's meant for me? I am in doubt of my words. I have a really strong memory that is resonant with my life, that I hold onto, of a time when I was in a vessel, in space. The dream was one of those that felt more real than the world I woke up into. In fact, this world I was at times convinced was a simulation, and that the dream was a glimpse of some outside. Or I felt that that was where I wanted to be, up there, and where I belonged, or began at. The only thing I heard was "this may hurt a little", before I felt pulled into a singularity (for lack of another word), and my body spaghettified, my bones being pulled out of their sockets and body destroyed/gone, until I was just consciousness(?). I'm pretty sure I was still screaming, because when I woke up, I was. But on the way down, I saw what seemed to be "hyperspace". There was a lens effect, where I saw darkness ahead, and starting at a ring around the edge of this lens, stars moving past. If you have seen Stargate, it looked similar when they first stepped in. And I started to see them as symbols- the stars. Characters. And then finally, things made sense. I understood, especially one symbol, that I found centered-- and it stayed centered. Darkness around it, and many symbols still moving past, around-starting at the edge. This symbol in the center meant love. It was like... a science, the way the angles of it described it to me. It was like I was a computer, and this symbol was what I needed to "understand" love. It inputted the meaning. It meant love, and I totally got it, and it was so simple. It was the last symbol I saw before waking up. And I wanted to communicate it to the girl I saw in the dream right before I was in the "UFO". I wanted to "get back up there", after I woke up. I felt she was real.

That's all I'll say, so far, for that...

But my issue with these "predictions" is that they are so often totally unfounded. They so often NEVER PAN OUT. Just like this one- the landings. Did you see my post earlier, about how the landings were supposed to occur back in the 50s? Same Ashtar Command B.S. (I'm sorry, please prove me wrong, I'm open). Same "Imminent landings" wording. It seems every time these things don't come to fruition, people have some reason why it didn't happen, and included in that are positive and uplifting things, and the words they say simply can't be proven or disproven. Dance around. Dance around.

I wouldn't go so far. And your last comparison makes absolutely no sense. This is a Philosophy and Spirituality forum. It's not inherently polarizing with certain beliefs. Her "beliefs" are well within the bounds of "spirituality". I'm also a critic, but I for one have found value in her threads. If not anything, they are good exercise, and they make me think. I have had experience in my life, connected to what I have written in response to her threads/contributions.

I can't say she wastes anyone's time. It's your own choice to try to involve yourself in it. I might agree that what she proposes is not the best way to spend time (to believe in these words of these people who predict landings, and hollow earths), but that's our choice, and it is also our choice how we engage ourselves, with ourselves, in the world around us. I at least find it beneficial to entertain thoughts, if I am to be engaged at all.

Have you ever considered you're just a bully who attack every idea I throw out there for anyone who might find some value in it, just for the sake of it, counting on that your "friends" will protect you? This is a board of very diverse ideas and subject matters which is supposed to be free for all, so it's not like everyone are going to agree.

I don't go into the Atheist threads to terrorise posters or ridicule their theories. They're free to believe what they want, as far as I'm concerned, and I see no problem with that. Some of the contributions to this thread are outright moronic, but they're left well alone, as long as they support your personal bias.

The starting point and ending point of all your threads is the same: there is no contributed value.

I have about 100 personal messages showing support and appreciation for what I write so it's not like no-one wants to see it. Not everyone like reading about the same things and people have very varied beliefs. Just because you and a few others think it has no place here doesn't mean anything.

And what do you contribute apart from shooting down creative ideas and threads you just dislike and generally being a quarrulent? You don't need to agree, but at least you can be tolerant and not get into such a state about it. Maybe you can try looking for another outlet for your spite and anger.

P.S. This is a Philosophy/Spirituality board. Where do you get the notion that every idea should be "proven", or suit in with your own knowledge, or commercially known science? WTF? That would undermine the whole point of having such a board.

I guess I deserve to be banned for standing up for myself now.

I have steered away from your last three crazy threads and "didn't fell into the trap." However, when you self-rightlously pointed out that this was a scam, and your theory somehow stands on firm grounds, I was seduced to respond again and alas "I fell again into the trap" (which means, that we are now having a discussion with absolutely zero results, but in which you are the center of attention).

Which friends? I am a friggin Pokemon.

And, yes. Personally I don't like you. But my emotional stance towards you doesn't make any difference at all. Whether I like you or not the law of gravity will still continue to hold. Whether I like you or not, your wild theories remain firmly ungrounded and empty.

I don't go into the Atheist threads to terrorise posters or ridicule their theories.

Who says I am atheist?

... which means that I am also free to counteract the further distribution of speculative theories. IMO, they do more harm than good to humanity.

I have been an active member for a long time. But recent trends in P&S have made this forum much less attractive for me. Occassionally I still come by to see if there is still something useful around, but mostly it is disappointing.

You don't need to agree, but at least you can be tolerant and not get into such a state about it.
As argued before: truth stands higher than tolerance. I am prepared to fight against people who are racists, sexists, anti-homosexuals... I am prepared to fight against people who think pseudo-science (e.g. homeopathy) can cure you. I am prepared to fight against the further dissemination of mass conspiracy and delusional theories. Personally, I think these things all do humanity more harm than good.

And yes, I am aware of the paradox
NSFW:

Fighting for Peace is like having Sex for Virginity

yet... I think the intolerance of "bad ideas" is a lesser evil than being tolerant towards them and let them pollute civilization. If nobody every stood up against these "bad ideas" we will still be stoning people, and we would think the lightening in the sky was an intervention of God... Some ideas and knowlege needs to be destroyed: it is a necessary requirement for humanity as a whole to progress forward.

I guess I deserve to be banned for standing up for myself now.
I hope not. My suggestion was that you leave on free choice. If there a really so many enlightened people who can hear Jesus speaking to them, have special knowlege about angels, have access to the 6th dimension, have illuminated knowledge about aliens, have knowledge about a secret society inside the earth... Why don't you go to talk with them? Why are we -- ordinary people -- so interesting for you?

That's a big assumption to have on other people's behalf (i know you said maybe) - i quite enjoy reading ninae's threads though i fiind them a bit batty personally (but what do i know?) - and this is exactly the sort of place to put them isn't it? (or is there a 'philosophy/spirituality that proper people think is bollocks' thread that i don't know about). There can always value in hearing other people's views - especially views you disagree with or don't understand (what other place in your mind is more in need of exploring). If you think that the other person will never listen to your arguments, is that a reason for you doing the same? (and just marshalling arguments is worthwhile in itself as 23 said). And there's no reason to be impolite really.

If everyone just associated with people with exactly the same ideas as them it would be a boring life.

I just try to help someone out by clarifying to him it's a scam and all I get for it is thrown in my face I'm no better than someone who would believe in it based on my other ideas.

Why should I leave of free choice (I tried to leave of "free choice" on Friday) just because I get on your nerves when there are many who actually appreciate what I have to say? Or is this board only for you and a few of your like-minded? I don't know why you dislike me so much, or invest emotionally in me at all, as I've never had any feelings towards you, apart from noticing you like to attack me and ruin my threads. But some just can't tolerate others with ideas contrary to theirs.

You just don't seem to read my post properly or understand what I mean. I started this thread with a question (and assumed it would be seen as a bit of a joke) and just threw a wild idea out there as it caught my interest and I was interested in what others thought of it and exploring it. Some of us might be inclined that way.

You make it sound like I tried to force the idea on everyone as the absolute truth, when I always said I had no idea what the actual case was, and only speculated on what it could be based on different high-quality sources (in my view). That is also why I decided to try closing the thread today after reading the new channeling which presented some very different information so the initial proposal wasn't really relevant anymore. But of course those who want can choose to discuss it further.

And the reason I share my experiences with Christ and his healing powers, etc. is to try and convey to people that this is something that is very much real and alive and we can all greatly benefit from. It's not like I'm alone in this, and I'm certainly now some godly chosen, if you look into it you'll find there are millions over the world with similar experiences and abilities. The only reason I bring it up so much is that it has helped me and many others so much and might be something that can be of help to others, regardless of their view of "Christianity".

I just live more in the spiritual world and do have genuine spiritual experiences, but they don't seem very welcome here. I don't have any contact with alians, but I've experienced contact with Christ, God, Angels. And have some spiritual or meta-physical abilities like telepathy, clairsight, healing.

And I don't feel it's something I need to apologise for or just shut up about. It's just intended as inspiration, and there are countless others like me, it's just not so common to meet one. But anyone like that have the potential to bring positive change and mental enlightment to the world and in a person's life, so that is something that motivates me, in a way I can't really control.

They were actually all from a Radio Show site I've been listening to for one and a half years by very intelligent, enlightened people, who would channel anyone from Jesus to Ashtar and countless other spiritual beings. It was very high quality, and not just some random blog, and until you've given it a chance I suggest you suspend your judgement.

Why downgrade something you haven't even looked into anyway? Many could be helped my this material. There was an audience of thousands involved in it, many who were very much helped in different ways.

Peer-reviewed to the hilt. But then again you can't do much about a closed mind. :)

More appeal to authority, hooray. Don't confuse good storytelling with hard facts. Someone telling you about their idea of Jesus and his adventures in Israel is a story, not a factual account.

Scientologists believe they can levitate ashtrays with their mind, manipulate matter/energy/space/time at will, and make money appear out of thin air. They also have a bunch of books that say so and their PR wing will tell you for sure that no Scientologist has personal problems, because they're ideal beings. This is evidenced by self-report claiming that these people (who of course are famous and popular individuals, never paupers, and outwardly mentally ill people are purposely excluded) have amaxing power, can levitate, read minds from a distance, are invulnerable to psychosis etc. Which of course cannot be demonstrated under any sort of controlled circumstances. Then they start ending up in jail for class action fraud. Or they commit suicide. Or just generally act erratically. (For a bunch of guys with compete control over matter and energy you would figure they wouldn't have to ask for donations so often.)

So unless you can differentiate your particular brand of hooey from the Scilons sitting around telling each other how special they are, both stay confined to my circular filing cabinet. Letting people fill their head with unfettered access to garbage feel-good "science" which always validates their beliefs is way more harmful in the long run than you would expect. Teaching people that belief is the same as consensus reality is a dangerous game. A little white lie never hurt anyone?

Here's a humdinger for you: Why don't we allow testimony from professional psychics/spirit channelers as infallible evidence in criminal court? Or prayer? Or even witness testimony alone?

Disclaimer: I'm strongly opinionated on some issues like falsifiability.

I won't bother to argue about this anymore, as you haven't actually taken the time to read or listen to the material yourself, so are just assuming what you're talking about.

I wasn't judging it by any perceived authority, but on the actual level of ideas, information, and sentiment, and how they resonated with me, which were about as high as it can get in these circles. At least it resonated with me and many others, though they might not with you, and it's also a fact there are many who have no time for anything like that no matter the quality.

By the way, from you started on Scientologists I completely tuned out, as that has nothing to do with what I've been about at all, and suggesting meta-physical abilities should be used in court is completely out there. I've never said they are as reliable as that and that is not the world we live in, as you should know. Not so much logic here, then, more like emotions going wild.

But if you believe Jesus is just a story and all spirituality just fake, why waste your time arguing with those who do believe? It's not like you're going to change their mind, just have a personal outlet. There are always someone who can argue as well for their beliefs as you can, better to spend your energies on what you DO believe in. I know there are many here who are more materialist or scientific minded, and they won't necessarily like or believe anything I say, but it's completely fruitless trying to convince each other who's right.

Anyone who wants to listen/read can find it here http://www.hollowearthnetwork.com like I've shown you before and it's better if people go there and look at it if they want instead of arguing based on my posts which doesn't really convey a fraction of it all.

I can understand the disillusionment when predicted events, whether they ideas have been planted by humans or spiritual sources, doen't come about or are indefinitely delayed, again and again, which nearly always seem to happen. You just have to trust God is in charge and has a plan with it all and is acting for our best outcome.

i.e. we seem to have already been spared the Armageddon scenario, whether you believed in it or not. I was sceptical personally, as it was almost like we were being completely brainwashed with the idea, everyone and his mother had heard about it, as to try bringing it about by placing our energies and collective attention on it, which are creative.

Anyway, this reminds me of this one particular Hitler scetch. Know these are a bit dubious, but it's too funny when he's the voice of reason and unleashes all his rage and brain-power on things like these.

Good job Michael!

I don't know why you dislike me so much, or invest emotionally in me at all, as I've never had any feelings towards you, apart from noticing you like to attack me and ruin my threads. But some just can't tolerate others with ideas contrary to theirs.

mainly:
The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.

Bertrand Russell
It really bothers me that after many years of proper education (university degree philosophy, mathematics, physics) I can still admit that I don't know anything, that everything can be doubted and that one must be critical about everything. You on the contrary, you take every wild ungrounded theory for granted, and with your highly developped verbal/written skills you further spread this non-information and non-sense... polluting other naive people their mind.

I am prepared to question everything, you are not prepared to be critical about anything. Luckily, in your head you have made a social construct which makes your life easier, i.e. the so-called special "S" word. Everything "spiritual" is immune to critique to you. "Spiritualism" is the opposite of "Materialism" and "Science" and is therefore immune to ALL CRITIQUE. In your head you have constructed your own validation-principle which makes all your ideas true. This is not how it works.

I have about 100 personal messages showing support and appreciation for what I write so it's not like no-one wants to see it. Not everyone like reading about the same things and people have very varied beliefs.
This is reason enough why I want to pursue my crusade. It's really disturbing that these ideas get spreaded around and people really believe them. With the $250 for the so-called channeler, we can actually send a child one year to school! Really, what kind of society do we want to live in: a society where people develop their cognitive skills through proper education, and learn about the world in a rational way, or a world where we let some guy answer all our questions for $250 !!!

On the contrary, I've devoted a lot of time to spiritual learning and meditating, and am very discerning about it. I don't agree with most of it but feel very passionately for what I've found is of worth. Maybe my readers feel the same way.

And did it occur to you the reason I focus on it so much is that it's what I have to bring to the world, or is my role, like others have other specialities? There has to be some to take on that role to. What makes you feel you have the right to deny me that? Science is great but it's not my area (when did you dream I'm in any way opposed to it?). Materialism I see as the opposite of a spiritual world-view so I can't agree with that.

Nice Russel Brand quote, though. He's a smart/original guy. Both intelligent and cocksure though.
For what it's worth, I have quite a well-developed verbal IQ myself, or around 140 or so. So I don't really need to be treated like a retard or in the stupid and cocksure category.

And I don't agree I just use it to brainwash people with rubbish. Everything I share is what I've found real truth and value in (this thread wasn't supposed to be taken so seriously but I guess most here are Americans so what can you do) and all I want is to pass it on in case it can be of some help to others.

And as for your crusade - have you considered there are people with similar skills who are using them for much worse purposes that does much more damage to the human species? All this is quite harmless, after all, so maybe you should focus more on those. Believing in Jesus never hurt anyone. It just hurts someone's ego who doesn't.
