Xannies are the best benzos by far IMO - although I've never tried Flunitrazepam a.k.a Rohypnol
Flunitrazepam is 100X superior than xanax
xanax is standard benzo
dont'play with rohypnol is a very high drug

The main active metabolite of diazepam is actually desmethyldiazepam, a partial agonist at the BZD receptor sites, making it (desmethyldiazepam) a weaker benzodiazepine. However desmethyldiazepam is the reason for the long-half of Diazepam. While Diazepam itself has a half life of 20-100 hours, desmethyldiazepam has a half life nearly twice as long (200 hours). Diazepam has two other active metabolites, oxazepam being one of them. The other is Temazepam. Diazepam is roughly twice as potent as Oxazepam, along with Temazepam. I, however find Temazepam more enjoyable and one of my favorite benzos. Hope that clears things up for you...
Also, in the U.S. Diazepam is available in 2mg, 5mg and 10mg tablets.
^^ true, o was thinking more of a recreational benzo... after for therapeutic use i think diazepam is still slightly superiour, beter muscle realaxing properties, and more sedating...
ive found the little buggers a godsend on comedowns especially, MDMA comedowns where you feel physically and mentally drained. Warm you up, chills you out and with a couple of zopiclones added in im away with the fairys.
You are on the right track, oxazepam is one of a few active metabolites of diazepam. IMO diazepam is far superior... Oxazepam, I would compare closer to lorazepam than diazepam in terms of effects. I have found that it is great for mixing with certain other drugs, though! (Just use reasonable doses, of course!)
Yes, diazepam is much superior. Oxazepam is very subtle, sort of like lorazepam. It is not a good sedative with little anxiolytic effects. Not my cup of tea.
hell lorazepam is way better than oxazepam.
at least i can catch a buzz off lorazepam, with oxazepam its like trying to get a buzz of valerian.
Sorry, I didn't mean to say that lorazepam was so far down on the benzodiazepine chain like oxazepam, I just meant to compare the sedation because I don't find lorazepam much sedating. But lorazepam is by far better than oxazepam.
