its a cold that can get a little rough - it can kill ya but most likely it wont.....

we dont need to talk about polio, or smallpox, measles - it's not even close to those - so why do i gotta keep hearing these comparisons?


you want me to get an experimental novel "vaccine" to test out on the novel virus

and you want me to do that for you, not me - you want me to test it out - for the rest of the planet

known adverse reactions to the smallpox vaccine included death and encephalitis. adverse reactions requiring time out of work/school were far more common than n the case of the covid vaccines.

measels was eradicted in the usa until people stopped getting vaccinated in sufficient numbers.

no one is comparing sars-cov2 to those viruses, just asking you to be consistent, because all vaccines have severe adverse reactions.

10-20% of those confirmed infected with sars-cov2 are experiencing serious symptoms 5 (in the case of 20% ) to 12 (in the case of 10% ) weeks after diagnosis. some can barely walk a year later. most of those with long covid did not have a severe initial illness. that's not a 'cold that can get a bit rough'

Measles was never eradicated from the U.S.

that was just an over-zealous statement after having a run for 12 months with no transmissible cases

it's actually still considered "eliminated" in the US because there hasn't been a breakout for longer than a year


so ya know...they call it "eliminated" even tho it really isn't


so then we can go into the whole thing of trying to compare covid to smallpox

smallpox killed 30% of ppl who caught it...those who lived, were scarred and disfigured for life......you're not trying to tell me covid and smallpox are in the same category are ya?

i just feel like im getting lured into a different argument here anyway

i mean you want me to be consistent on all of the pandemics in history, and all of the vaccines in history, when that's just not really what im talking about

we don't give the smallpox vaccines anymore - so what's the point of even talking about it now? we're talking about a disease that went on for hundreds of years and killed miliion upon millions.....but you want me to be consistent on something that's completely different

why because i won't take the official stance of an anti-vaxxer because im not really?....it depends on what we're talking about - so im probably never gonna sound consistent when each case is different


theres a chance this goes the way the Spanish Flu went....and where was that vaccine to save the day? what happened there? was it because pretty much everybody was exposed anyway? isn't that what we have going on right now?

if you are going to willfully misinterpret me then there is no point.

in response to what you just posted- spanish flu killed 50 million people. if we had the techology we had today and developed an effective vaccine quickly enough then that death toll would have been much lower. the purpose of the covid vaccines and safety measures is to avoid a comparable death toll. by opposing the vaccines, which have been proven to reduce transmissibility, you're basically implying you are fine with millions more deaths.
 
No i disagree with that too - vaccines wouldn't have saved the day then either...

if we had antibiotics back then, that would've saved more lives by far by treating secondary bacterial infections
 
I mean but cmon with this too

if there wasn't a world war at the time, would it have been what it was? it killed more soldiers than enemy gun fire, and probably because of trench warfare

there was still a lot of people moving around the globe. ffs it was discovered in the USA where there was no fighting going on. you can't blame the death toll on the conditions in the trenches.

flu vaccines that are only partially effective against the dominant strain save tens-hundreds of thousands of lives per year so i'm pretty sure one would have made a heavy dent.
 
so now they can only say "we don't know why it went away" where if the shot showed up at the end, they wouldve claimed victory there

i thought enough people became infected that they were immune and therefore no longer vectors for transmission. herd immunity via killing 50 million people. if you learned some basic epidemiology and coding you could very easily model how it would have gone with the introduction of a vaccine and the predicted death toll in that hypothetical situation would be much lower.

Ok - im not gonna waste my time arguing about something hypothetical that didn't happen or could've happened or might have happened
 
oh so you will just make hypothetical claims that don't stand up to scrutiny and then when someone suggests a way you could validate your own hypothetical claims about something that didn't happen, you'll use the hypotheticality as a reason not to engage. lol.

well you wanna argue about the 1918 spanish flu and how a vaccine would've saved everybody, IF, they wouldve developed one quickly enough

that's a big IF

i mean like what happens in this hypothetical scenario? the flu starts and then a month later, there's a proven vaccine to stop it dead in it's tracks?

California county cuts COVID-19 death toll by 25% after finding some deaths 'clearly not' caused by virus


Neetu Balram, a spokesperson for Alameda County Public Health, said that some of the deaths "were clearly not caused by COVID," the Los Angeles Times reported.

"Obviously our definition was broader than the state’s," Balram said, adding that the department had always planned to conduct an update "when cases and deaths stabilized."

The alternative causes of death were not provided.

"We knew any change like this would have raised some eyebrows," Alameda County health officer Nicholas Moss told the Oaklandside. "Nothing about this changes our policy decisions now or during the height of the pandemic."

Dr. Amesh Adalja, an infectious disease expert and senior scholar at Johns Hopkins, said the adjustments were expected but the amount "seems high."

By the way China loves the Wuhan lab leak story for two reasons at least. It amplifies and reinforces the fraud that this is a catastrophic disease, despite a median age of death according to health agencies across 10 industrialized countries of >80 with 96% of victims suffering an average of 2.6 other serious end-stage illnesses (CDC).
It keeps the focus squarely on the corruption and duplicity of United States officials and not on the CCP's propaganda campaign selling lockdowns to the rest of the world using footage of people lying dead in the streets fully clothed and masked like statues, something that happened nowhere else in the world. Given how tightly controlled Chinese media is the probability is high those images were either faked or the real product of perhaps an accidental release of fentanyl from Wuhan's state-controlled Chemical Company and the world's number one supplier of fentanyl and it's far more potent chemical cousins.

Interesting note: China quietly reopened in April last year, and Wuhan was having huge events including a concert with tens of thousands of people, few if any wearing masks.

I don't know what's happening but given the widespread devastation of lockdowns to lives and economies across the world everything drummed into the public by all major media is suspect, including the claim that there is a virus. It's easy to use the PCR test at 35 cycles and above to produce positives as many as you need to frighten people. That's why Sweden, which never was locked down or imposed mask mandates does not test asymptomatic people. Kary Mullis, who won the chemistry Nobel prize for inventing the polymerase chain reaction, said it should never be employed for diagnosis of any disease in the absence of clinical observation of symptoms. Here he is giving his opinion of Fauci:

The US doesn't have the highest deaths per million from COVID-19.
It currently ranks 12th in the world.

If you meant California, the state ranks 31st.

Americans have a tendency to assume they are the centre of the universe.

Don't you know anyone, or know someone or knows someone, or at the very least know someone who knows someone who knows someone who died from covid? My parents and their friends are in their mid to late 60s had 3 friends die before 2021 started
