SALT NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT FOR SURE!!!! The venue is great, but the management need to realize something. To spend lots of money at a place like that you normally want to have fun and to have fun you normal dance at a place like that, and if you can't dance because you can't cool yourself down, who the fuck is gona want to go there, NOT ME! that's for sure......ever heard of cold water!! (That was for the management at Salt if you are reading this) Canyflip, I have been waiting to say that for a long time, and I just saw that comment and couldn't help myself. And Chet, how the hell can you put up with it man, even if you had lots of money I couldn't see you tipping $4 small bottle of water on your face every hour. SALT SUX! DON'T GO THERE!!!!
 
Other than techno i like hip hop and reggae
but nothing compares to techno anyway

psytrance, dnb jungle breaks, experimental, downtempo, ambient, uplifting anything (trance!) funky anything, nothing too minimal i like it lush.
also punk. some alt. some pop (by pop i mean like tori amos and rem. NOT britney spears!!!) some classical esp baroque. old skool hip hop.
hell i'll listen to just about anything really. i do really like good melody/lush sounds tho.
and, of course, asymmetry's music which is incredibly yummy! so if you see him, ask him to play you some n check it out

hmmm im in with atomica on this one, definitely.
psytrance, tribal trance, trance, trance, trance, goa trance, isra-trance, the kinda trance BT described up above, any trance with that flowy motion to it, anything that helps me enter the dreamworld..
and then brrreaakks !! drum&bass, jungle, tekstep, darkstep, step step step!! all breakbeatz.. and yeah i dont mind a fair bit of hip hop either..
and house.. i dont know about the commercial house stuff, apart from a few exceptions, i just find it all a bit, well, commercial. but dreamy house.. deep house.. the house you get and sunnyside.. just love it..
and then anything whacky and experimental, downtempo, i like some dub that i've heard.. ambient.. chill out music.. come down music.. loungy jazzy music.. slow and funky.. i also like some bigbeat stuff.. its all good!
my opinion is, yeah techno is fun, but its got no atmosphere.. i like it, but im definitely not passionate about it. and why listen to it when theres so much more out there thats worth more of a listen.. anyway..
