OPIOD FIENDs hate ALCOHOL??

well it seems Suboxone polarizes people as far as alcohol... some flock to alcohol as a way to enjoy a buzz while on bupe, and other can't stand booze while on bupe maintenance.

Not too many in this thread in the middle ground.
 
"I hate to mix the two because it takes away from the pure opiate high." .... My thoughts exactly. Most drugs used to "add" to the opiate high just take away from the opiate bliss and make me more drowsy. Drowsy and noddy are two different things to me.
 
another thing ive noticed is that while back in the day alcohol used to make into a sex crazed maniac(libido thru the roof) now it seems that alcohol descreases my sex drive..is this just me or what???
 
about this whole alcohol vs. opiate thing

ive hated alcohol for yrs since i got my first REAL bad hangover

shit just makes me sweat and makes me want to do other better drugs, or STEAL shit to buy those drugs

imho i cant stand alcohol, opiates are wayyy better, but i got a good friend that loves them both

so once again

to each his own
 
I don't HATE alcohol...

I just don't care very much for it these days...Back when I was 14-15, I loved getting shitfaced drunk. Nowadays, I'll have a couple beers every other month or so.

After developing a serious opiate/opioid habit, along with discovering the beauty of hallucinogens at the tail end of my 15th year of this life I live, alcohol just became so boring.

I'd much rather have some good ol' opi's running through my veins any day.

NO, im staying off ALL other drugs, so thats not the answer here...i just wanna know if any of you that have successfully quit a hardcore opiod habit went back to actually ENJOYING the ALCOHOL experience?/

i think it sucked just because you had been taking methadone, even though you didnt get high from it.
