Have taken hydrocodone and oxycodone hundreds of times. I usually take a minimum of 100 either. Usually fall asleep easily while on any opiate unless I get "shocks".
Well last month, twice, once on oxycodone(110 mg) and once combining both(80 mg of oxycodone 170mg of hydrocodone) I found I was unable to sleep. Even at the peak of my nod with lights off I simply couldn't. So the first time I took one 12.5 ambiem cr and added one 10 mg zolpidem ir. Didnt work at all. Every single other time I have taken zolpidem in any form with or without any opiates in my system I have fallen asleep at will. I just lie there in bed doing nothing.
The second time was two days later. Only this time I took 1.2 mg of clonidine and two hours later still was not asleep. Again, every single time ive taken clonidine I have knocked out for atleast 10-12 hours.Well same thing today with 170mg of hydrocodone alone. Took 180mg of temazepam 2 hours ago. Just got on to type this 20 min ago. All of a sudden I simply can not sleep on opiates. Quite random and out of the blue.
I exercise daily and eat decently, I can sleep fine on any other sedating drug or without the assistance of any sleep aids. Anyone have any suggestions on why this randomly started or anything yall could think of for now or future reference to help sleep on opiates (other than not taking opiates)? Any sugguestions would be appreciated.
Ps I know these are high dose and yes for CWE.
