I agree that There has been alot of useless crap threads lately, But Then again there alwase has been boring threads along with some interesting reading (its a forum, duh)
Or Maybe its more the fact that Im (were?) getting sick of reading it, not the actual quality entirely.

I dont have a problem with the lighthearted stuff.............its fine.........but I agree with someone above who suggested that there are way to many posts that are simply.........I agree or whatever which seem to me to add nothing whatsoever to the topic at hand.........and there are heaps of one liners........every now and then sure, but some seem to do it with regular monotomy.


I think ur call about making Aus Social a reflection of what i want is a bit unfair..........I think you will find that there are plenty of people in here who tend to agree with me that its not really what we are looking for.

I also think a lot of quality posters are not posting as much anymore because of the ammount of idle chit chat suggesting that its not really a place they want to post in anymore.

Hey Im no God.........Im just me...........I think its good its being discussed.

I think this type of reply is exactly what we are talking about.

1 - it has no relevance to the thread
2 - it interests no one except the poster who just likes to see their name in lights
3 - it generates no discussion or thought

If I was a mod, I would have deleted it and anything else equally useless on the forum.
