Apparently a sense of humor (and metaphor) aren't what they used to be...
My most humble apologies...
My most humble apologies...
No, I really owe you the apology. The last 12+ hours has made me really edgy and probably overly defensive. That is a funny metaphor; I'm just being defensive b/c I guess I stupidly got butthurt over senselessly mean comments that came at me today and yesterday from people for whom I previously had a lot more respect. I guess you could say I just feel crestfallen and disappointed, and I totally missed the humor and levity you were attempting to inject into this convo. Thank you for being cool about it though and responding with kindness and maturity. It means a lot to me at this moment, and your kindness will be remember by yours truly, FWIW.Apparently a sense of humor (and metaphor) aren't what they used to be...

I don't know how to interpret your comment in which you said:
And the graphic file name is "gaydance.gif". What are you attempting to say? Why won't you clarify this for me? This is my third request. Can you not see how that can be interpreted as a homophobic slur? I thought you and I were cool @Mr. Krinkle? I'm sorry if I'm just reading into it too much, but goddamn, motherfuckers on here will gang up on someone fast, so please just clarify what you meant here and why you chose the emoji "gaydance.gif".he said "voir dire"![]()
@Mr. Krinkle is too old to properly understand emojis and I doubt he knows their individual names. This has come up before. Can you give an old confused man his jokes he doesn’t even understand and let the thread get back on topic. While I am totally sympathetic to your issues here, we are going to need a whole new thread in a different forum if it’s going to continue to be about you and how people are interacting with you.I don't know how to interpret your comment in which you said:

Just remember, the old adage- at first the truth will be ridiculed. Then it will be violently opposed. Until it is finally evident, or something like that.Yeah right here. I'm sorry to say it, but it's absolutely true. Honestly, in this thread alone I felt attacked, many times by site moderators and a couple of times by seemingly bigoted terminology, unless I missed something back there, but everyone got all quiet all of a sudden on the topic.
Not a problem my friend. I understand. No, I really owe you the apology. The last 12+ hours has made me really edgy and probably overly defensive. Hey I think we both have skewed views of each other. No, at this point I feel like I'm being attacked by virtually everyone on this thread (metaphorically speaking) and I'm being forced to defend myself from the attacks of site moderators such as yourself. In case any feedback is worth a flying fuck to any mod on this site, I'm just going on record as saying it's been really unpleasant being picked apart for sharing my opinions on here by site moderators. I don't feel welcome and I certainly don't feel encouraged to contribute much to the site. I think my posts' value speak for themselves, as does my reaction score to posts ratio, but I'll let you decide that one.
Maybe I'm beating a dead horse, maybe not. And then again maybe you're picking on a valuable, contributing member of the site who freely spends hours adding recent, relevant, harm-reduction-based, site-enriching content consistently over time, asking for absolutely nothing in return except for maybe just a modicum of respect from site moderators, many of whom, to me, seem unbelievably lazy and disrespectful to site contributors.
And don’t take my title too seriously. I do what I do here, but I do not mod this specific forum or have any jurisdiction. I’m here because I offered, as could just about anyone else. You are welcome here. Sorry if I made you feel unwelcome.Hey I think we both have skewed views of each other.
Your info is valuable too okay? I just disagree, that’s all.
Get some exercise, eat right, sleep right and watch it with the sex/porn and Meth can actually be a wonderful Medication for any number of ailments. You have to look at it as a Medication (which it actually is), as apposed to an illicit drug. Take it with the mindset of "I'm going to take a little and accomplish something great today" not "I'm going to take a lot and get super super high and tweak off the walls"i plugged like 30 mg of meth today
I saw the post that low doses are neuroprotective, so I took it easy, took two doses within an hour, and that’s it., I have enough for ten more days of this![]()

Take it once in the morning. Orally (gel capped) Low-Dose. And that's it. Do not take it again the rest of the day. It's tough to do, because you always feel like taking another little micro-dose in the afternoon, you do that and you'll be up all night into the next morning, at which point there's really only one thing left to do (take more). I call it the "Meth Trap".
Falling into the Meth Trap is bad. You take too much and you can slip into psychosis. Psychosis is bad, major bad. If it wasn't for that blasted psychosis I tell you...
Just be careful, you can see here where I did phenomenally well on it at first, then eventually took too much and slipped into a major manic/psychosis state and basically lost everything.
Stimulants - Self Medicating ADHD With Meth
Long story short, took adderall for 12 years, went off two years ago, gained a bunch of weight (80lbs) because I had no energy to workout (that and my diet / self control goes to shit when im off stimulants.) Sick of being fat, sick of being lazy, so figured I would try some low-dose Meth...www.bluelight.org
@negrogesic @Perforated any chance you could change the thread title back to "Self-Medicating ADHD with Meth? Thanks.
It is @negrogesic ’s call on changing that thread title because it is in the ‘Other Drugs’ Forum which I do not moderate. However, given that 90% of 22 pages worth of posts in that thread are off-topic, hell-raising, shit-stirring, methomania my view is that it needs to be moved to The Lounge or Drug Culture. If it gets moved to Drug Culture I’ll amend the title to “What Happens When You Attempt to Self-Medicate ADHD with Meth (Best of Bluelight Version”. But I don’t think it should be unlocked again unless it goes to The Lounge. Remember this thread caused you to need a couple of extended timeouts and some medical attention - it was not conducive to our mission of harm reduction. I regret my role in all of that.
It’s a very good example of what happens when people high on stimulants let their sense of humour and the absurd get the better of them and lose control of executive functioning (which is a known downside of both ADHD and too much meth). It’s also the kind of thing that some of the “less-meth posting please” crowd here point to as a prime example of the tweaker problem on Bluelight.
The same is somewhat true of sex workers in my experience. Sex workers paying for an opiate habit tend to be miserabalist, monosyllabic, clock-watching, transactionalists who vanish your valuables if you close your eyes too long. They never score quality for you. On the other hand sex workers funding a meth habit tend to be much more like enthusiastic fuck-buddies if you are a regular. They are happy enough to forget the clock for a while if the pipe still puffing and who will decline to smoke your gear cause it’s nowhere near as good as what they get; which you can share so long as you chip in and remain friendly and respectful. When you pass out they are still just sitting on the end of the bed blowing plumes and telling the same funny story when you wake up.Back when I was hanging out with a bunch of sketchy degenerates, I always enjoyed the company of tweakers more than abusers of other things tbh...like opioid abusers would be going on and on about their poor pitiful me stories as their chin collided with their chest, while tweakers would regale you with all kinds of tall tales about drugs, weird sex stories, the Bible (yes, the Bible! Lol), outlandish conspiracy theories etc. Also, they tended to be a lot less stingy/more generous with the drogas than other substance (ab)users
They could get annoying too though. And it was always a mistake to trust them, like if they swore up and down that they could fix some broken household appliance of yours or something
Yeah dude, it's jury selection. My point there was that @mr peabody would likely be taken off a jury panel for a meth-related crime due to a close personal tragedy involving the drug and an assumed lack of impartiality as a consequence.I looked up "voir dire" and what I found seemed completely unrelated to homosexuality. It seems rather related to law terminology.
No, of course he didn't name the emoji. That would be an unusual site feature, don't you think?… Your account implies you're somewhat new to the site, like mine does for me. However, @Mr. Krinkle has been here for 16 years. He knows what he was saying, and so do I. I'm not easily offended, so I don't personally care much, but for the record, it was a homophobic slur that a troll like him would post, let's not kid ourselves here. And I don't give a fuck, personally, but I am surprised that site mods let homophobia like that fly around here.I doubt if @Mr. Krinkle named the emoji he posted himself or that he was even likely to know the name of it when posting (I wouldn't).
Hey thanks, @simstim; I like what you've posted as well, and you've never talked down or shitty to me, so even if we disagreed, we're still cool. It's just the attitude of some people around here is, let's just say, very disappointing. No biggie though; thanks for being so thoughtfulPlease don't think I'm ganging up on you @unodelacosa. I like many of your posts.
I don't get it, @Perforated. Are you covering for him or something? He's not that old; I've talked to him before about our mutual appreciation for the band Primus, from whom he takes his username. This joker is a middle-aged troll; don't cover for him. There's no “old, confused man” here. Do you think I'm that dumb? And he definitely understands what he's saying, and so do I. Why do you think you got two laughing responses from people who've been talking shit to me earlier in the post?@Mr. Krinkle is too old to properly understand emojis and I doubt he knows their individual names. This has come up before. Can you give an old confused man his jokes he doesn’t even understand
