No, modding is about moderating the discussion, i.e. being a calming and respectful presence, leading by example, and being patient with people who don't know as much as you. You're not supposed to be a rude, forceful, self-appointed Ecstasy guru. You are told you're being impolite and OTT and your response is "go cry more". Unbelievable. Btw, from the mod handbook:

You're right. I tested it wrong. I put a drop from the yellow bottle on some and then a drop from the green bottle on a separate sample. The peach-ish color I saw was the normal color of the yellow bottle drop. When I got home today, I tested it correctly and it turned bright blue. So I got Yellow, Red to Brown and bright blue. Indicative of methylone.

Again, sometimes tough love is needed. The OP hasn't seemed to take much, if any offense to my comments. I judged him to be a big boy, and he took it like one. If you really have a problem with my moderating style, I could direct you to the appropriate people to complain to.. this thread is not the place however.




Dcar, again.. the reagents INDICATE methylone, but also could easily indicate a mix as well. If it was cut with MDPV it would test almost exactly the same. I would not risk it friend, seriously. If you want RCs you can go buy RCs. They aren't hard to source, and will be 10 times cheaper than what you're paying for.... not to mention, you'll actually know what you're dealing with.

I didn't take offense to anything you said. Yea, it sounded a little harsh but I couldn't have cared less. So don't think I was upset by the way you talked to me. Being the age I am, working in the field I do and have taken as many drugs as I have over my 31 years, I have learned not all that glitters is gold. I have been a frequent user of Erowid. It has been my savior in a sense. I have always been afraid to take drugs.... especially new ones. I've done a ton of research on everything I've ever taken. When I couldn't find the answers about molly I was looking for, or better yet, I didn't know what questions to ask, I found Bluelight. I came here seeking answers and I got them. I know this crap I got isn't MDMA and teetering on the edge to take it or not, that little extra advice of the "smart thing to do" I got from Folley helped me make my final decision.

So I can see it from both sides. It was a little harsh, especially since I'm new here. However, it affected me in no way. I can also see how someone with more knowledge about the subject than me could get a little irritated with me knowing what I have isn't want I want, yet still thinking about putting it into my body. Sooooooo, I thank everyone.

On a good note, I got a text message today from another buddy with a picture attached. It showed a small bag of BlackBerry pills; about 20 and dark purple in color. There were 3 circles on a white plate. 1, 2 and 3. 1 and 2 had JET BLACK dots in them and 3 had a bright cobalt BLUE dot in it. Super excited to pick some up and test em out. I'll let everyone know how it goes. Thanks again!

But then how is he supposed to know his RC is the RC he wanted? Could be any mix of cathinones / MDPV :p

OP: If you do decide to take whatever it is you've got.. Start real low and work your way up..

The original test INDICATED methylone, just like a road sign can INDICATE that the baseball game is "this way". However, you don't take that at face value and walk "that way" for 3 miles without seeing another sign, you use it as a guide to help figure out the rest of the way. If you get a block down the road and "this way" is down a dark alley way, you should probably reconsider where you are going and look for another sign.


As such, if the reagents point to methylone (or anyother cathinone) but you bought it as MDMA, the first sign tells you it's fake and the second one says don't settle for that crap.




Good thing the OP is smart, looks like he got his hands on some real stuff instead of settling for the junk!

To be honest, yes, I do... worth the piece of mind for me. If one has bought a fair amount of misrepresented product, it's a better idea than trashing it. (I know some would disagree, but IMHO methylone is worthwhile enough if it isn't cut with some garbage piperazine or MDPV or some other nonsense.)

Of course, you'd still avoid the shitty dealer in the future, because shitty dealer should also at least reagent test their shit.
 
I get pure MDMA and I have to say, I started on pressed tabs, not pure MDMA defintely. More speedy.
But with the pure MDMA (Molly) I tend to get the yawns when I'm rolling and alone. I just get sleepy but feel so euphoric and just great. I have some jaw clenching but its less intense than an Adderall. At least for me. I absolutely hate stims, but have this love for MDMA.

MDMA is basically 2 parts amphetamine and 3 parts mescaline right? I've heard this somewhere. But I love the mild visuals you get under a good dose of MDMA.
Theres good MDMA going around my area lately. Well, good MDMA coming into my hands. Tested on several occasions, sometimes I get like 500mg crystals in my batches. Pretty sure its straight from the chemist. And I've even came across people trying to sell me sassafras/safrole oil. Which is used to make MDMA.

But yeah.. let your dealer know, see what he says.. but i wouldn't trust him again anytime soon..

There was a case recently where my dealer got some dodgy ketamine.. After a few lines it was obvious there was some kind of cathinone mixed it (why anyone would do this i will never understand).. he flushed the lot.

No.. it's not any part amphetamine (although it has the skeleton within the molecule) or Mescaline.. MDMA is MDMA.

I presume you are familiar with ecstasydata.org. There really is no other option unless you have access to a lab somewhere (which I don't).
 
I originally said, knowing is did not have MDMA, yet methylone I was not going to take it. When I got my real MDMA blackberry tabs, I ended up taking both. I took 1 tab and .15 methylone...... wow. We sat in my livingroom, watched the 2.5 hour set of Deadmau5 in Toronto 2011 HD on my 80" Sharp Aquos with 3 boxes of nitrous. Unbelievable night. I dont know if it was a mixture of the two drugs or if the Blackberry's were that strong but it felt like I was back in 1999. I haven't blown up since 2002. I can't quite describe it feelings/visuals of a peak high, accompanied with a big hit of nitrous, a house rattling Bose theatre system and the lasers and flashing light of the Deadmau5 set on my giant tv. I couldn't have asked for a better night.
