Off Topic Thread Vs: I like chocolate, I like fudge, I'll make some now or I won't...

hullo NickyJ *waves* wow a few people are coming up out of the woodwork. (that's the saying right?)

We are up to date with Breaking Bad but a re-watch is a good idea. When we were at a friends place earlier this year they had never seen it so we watched the first two eps with them. It was quite enjoyable, I had forgotten everything that happened. I forget a lot of things...

I didn't know there was an American version of Shameless. Usually the American version of English things are pitiful but if you reckon it is worth a look I'll have a looksie.

have this wound care gel called Solugel and nearly everytime I use it I sing this in my head but replace Soulja Boy with Solugel.
I'm tempted to rewrite the whole song talking about the effectiveness of said gel.

these are shows I thoroughly recommend btw:
Peep Show
Justified
It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia
(those 3 are give-them-time kinda shows)
Suits
Hell On Wheels
House of Lies
Parks and Recreation
The Walking Dead
Boardwalk Empire
(the last two everyone is on to these days right?)

Yeah, along with game of thrones and the walking dead and a heap of others.

I like justified. It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia is awesome, louie is funny, unsupervised (made by the IASIP 3), bobs burgers and archer are good animated style shows too, pretty funny.

The American version of Shameless was OK, I enjoyed them both, but because I'd already seen the English one, I thought the US one was just a bit corny and unoriginal (a rip off), some good acting in it tho I guess.

i just put a flat pack entertainment unit from Aldi together and it doesn't look like 2 separate bedside tables, or some abstract art piece.

Now time to put the brand new 55" tele on it and enjoy!

Brad Pitt: "Since declaring a war on drugs 40 years ago, the United States has spent more than a trillion dollars, arrested more than 45 million people, and racked up the highest incarceration rate in the world. Yet it remains laughably easy to obtain illegal drugs. So why do we continue down this same path? Why do we talk about the drug war as if it's a success? It's a charade."

oh yeah I forgot to mention The WAalking Dead and Game of Thrones.

so who else is staying in like an old codger tonight?
I'm just here silently seething a little. And missing how I lived by myself. And wondering a bit if relationships are worth it..
Time to watch some Sons of Anarchy!
