Thanks for the birthday wishes, tricomb, Rorer, TN, and Trip :)

LOL "drug squad kittens"... the one on top looks exactly like a kitten we rescued, I knew she was up to no good... :|

I kind of want some donuts, yo. & happy birthday, EM.

....I'm going to the races tonight. Hopefully someone hits the wall doing 300mph+. Would make my night.

hey I take 30mg of methadone a day, if I decide to take all 900mg of my script at once do you think I'll die? I'm totally dying to try this near opioid death experience (NODE) people keep talking about.

this is a joke, please do not consume 900mg of methadone - cloudy

Just had surgery yesterday. I'm pretty sore but otherwise fine! Shame I have to check in with my bupe doc before I can take the scripted pain meds (Nucynta). Thankfully, the bupe is actually helping with the pain a bit.

Enough about me ;). Hope everyone is doing well. Once again, happy b-day ErgicMergic! Hope that you're having/had a great time :D !

I officially want a snowmobile to race on the street. That will do 130MPH+ and run eight second quarter miles.

Oh my God.

...Or a jet engine car, that does 299MPH. Either one would be legit.

Thanks, Rorer! :D I'm glad everything went SWIMingly. I still haven't responded to your Tapentadol thread, and I was meaning to considering that my experiences with opioid dependence basically consisted of high dose hydrocodone and/or tapentadol.

I just wanted to give you a quick answer to your thread before I reply with a proper response: be careful with the Nucynta. It has very little to do tramadol, and a lot more to do with O-Desmethyltramadol (structured the same as tapentadol), the powerful mu-opioid agonist that tramadol is converted into that lacks serotonin activity, but retains NE activity. It can be quite euphoric and addictive if you like its unique high, and pulled me in to opiate addiction again after 2 months clean off of hydrocodone. 100mg of tapentadol feels like 30-35mg of hydrocodone to me, but there's a tapentadol -> oxy conversion somewhere online, just can't find it.

cLoud, you crazy ass fool ;)

True that, my dude. Shit would be so much fun!

Ayo, do any of you guys have an industrial piercing? If so, gimmie your experience. I'm thinking about getting one... Just because.

Best ideas ever! Wait, wait, wait! How about you step it up a notch and have a jet engine snowmobile to race on the streets! Oh and about industrial piercings, all you need is a nail gun. Don't get a framing nailer though, that will take things too far, unless you want your skull pierced with a 3 inch spike ;).

Thanks for the info Ergic :D! I definitely have to be careful with the Nucynta! I don't want to risk relapse whatsoever! I was prescribed the 50 mg controlled release tabs (x30), and have only taken one so far, but I'm definitely going to have to discuss this with my addictions doc and perhaps get him to downgrade me to Ultram. Like I said, I really don't want to risk a relapse nor do I want to risk potentially lethal additive sedation with my bupe and other meds!

You're not hardcore enough, cLoud, Rorer has you beat dawg.

And no problem, Rorer! :) IIRC Nucynta and tramadol's O-Des can be used with bupe, as their binding affinities for the MOR are very high, so I would stay far, far away from Nucynta if you are using high-dose Bupe as an opioid blocking agent. Tramadol is a great alternative, since your opioid activity is limited by the many side effects of high dose tramadol, whereas Nucynta can be chased pretty much to an unlimited amount. Hallucinations have been reported on Nucynta around 400-500mg, though, and my brother has gotten some very realistic, delirious hallucinations at 200mg.

Ergic: Looks like I'm going to stay the hell away from the Nucynta, I really don't feel like dying from an interaction with the bupe and the other stuff I'm on. I took one 50 mg Extended Release tab, got some noticeable opioid effects a bit later, which was a major red flag that it had a strong mu affinity, since I know that bupe will block everything except the heavy-hitters, then I got extremely sedated and fell into a deep sleep. Honestly, it scared the crap out of me. I'll deal with the pain, it's bad, but not anything that is crippling, I'll tough it out until I speak with my addictions doc on Monday and get some Ultram or extended release tramadol like Xytram XL. I didn't realize how powerful Nucynta is! Looks like I'll be going to the pharmacy shortly to have them dispose of the pills. Ergic, thank you BIG TIME for the potentially life-saving advice!

Tric, I am working with this artist to do an installation in this "green" renewable energy-showcase park, I proposed that we make a fountain out of discarded drilling pipe and use crude oil instead of water. Kids could splash around in the oil, and heavy metals and magnesium will leach into the soil and kill everything else in the park. People can get up close and personal with drilling-field waste and see how the oil industry interacts with our beautiful natural resources.

That sounds fracking awesome. Instead of crude oil, which has monetary value, why not fill it with the spent hydraulic fracturing fluid? :)
