NPS Act Discussion V2. Novel, Psychoactive, Still here!

Take newspaper articles with a pinch of salt. Their job is to sell papers; sensationalising, scaremongering n contrevesy is part of the territory.

I'm sorry but something needs to be dome about RCs. My opinion has somewhat changed n I honestly don't mean to offend anyone but these chemicals shouldn't be allowed to be sold to just anyone. How many deaths n addictions have come about as a result?

Is there a regulating body for student chenists like there is i. Psychology? Couldn't there be a way that only chemists n student chemists can have access in a laboritory but have to be a member of their regulating body to have access?

I feel that drugs should be legalised n regulated instead. I don't know the answer to this but things can't go on like this as people's lives are being destroyed.

True. If drugs where regulated and sold like alcohol from the beginning then all these obscure and potentially dangerous chemicals wouldn't have been produced. But most of us here already know that.

I imagine it's quite frightening for you n others addicted to benzos. I hope it's sorted soon so you all know where you stand :)

I have enough for my taper so Im not worried but for those dependent and less clued into the dangers of benzo withdrawal are in for a fright alright!

UK Blanket Ban

Can I just say how much I hate this absolute arsehole of a ban on all Chems that was brought in. It's literally the pits. Think I underestimated how much it would effect things possibly. Very much took for granted how easy it was to research so much cool stuff before with relative ease.

On a plus note I have more money, but I know what I'd rather have ?? this government sucks ass. They really really do.

It's a joke though, the tobacco and alcohol related deaths and nhs treatment costs for people drinking/smoking must be a million times that of treating people who research too much on the odd occasion. ???????

It is an absurd law - however drug laws have always been that way and yet drugs have always been available if you look for them.

So why let it affect you now? Unless it was your first exposure to drugs... in which case,

welcome to my world :| (aka. the way things were before 2005/6/whatever).

i think it will be some months before the real fallout starts to become clear as data and patients filter through the beaurocracy.

Not preaching to anyone. More venting. I've used all types of drugs throughout my life. So no not first dabble. I just like the animosity and the ease of net buying. It's quick, faceless and easy. Probably why I got much more into researching than getting things the old fashioned way. That took more effort and was more time consuming. Fall out wise, yes agreed. It could easily get messy. But no doubt whatever the outcome the government will declare it a huge success and cover any real data that will prove the whole affair is an absolute load of publicity pleasing shit!

Which chemicals do you miss researching the most?

Surely, no longer being a guinea pig is a good thing? The damage is probably already done, though.

The option of getting your gear delivered to your front door is still there, whether for the classic (safer?) drugs or your dirty RCs. I'm sure not every online vendor handed in their overstock when the ban came about.

I know but I can't even vent about it any more as the situation is just so utterly ridiculous It gives me brain zaps whenever I think about it.

Basically the message is that the only way to make drug use safer is to make sure that nobody but criminals actually operate the manufacture and trade in all but 2 or 3 of the most potentially harmful drugs on the planet, from deciding the contents of a product to what products are actually readily available, to picking the customers they sell to (which is generally 99% of people who ask to develop a business based acquaintance with them)

Controlled drugs - at least they got the terminology spot on.

hate it hate it hate it

They had to ban RCs in the UK because they were causing so much damage.

The people on Bluelight are an anomaly when it comes to drugs. Most people here seem pretty smart compared to your stereotypical drug user.

A lot of people really did believe that because RCs were legal, that meant they were safe. I bet most of the kids smoking those vile cannabinoids would do so thinking they were less harmful than real green. Adults probably thought the same and would prefer their kids to buy legal highs from a high street shop rather than illegal drugs from a criminal.

its ok, now the only legal high is alcohol, so everyone will be safe and happy in utopian right wing brexit britain.

I would still argue that alcohol and tobacco have and will continue to kill far more people than RC's ever would.

As with any substance you will have people who have no self control or do no research and throw themselves in and do a lot of damage. They are he ones the media pick up on and run with the stories.

The stereotype people like to connect with RC's is a zombie looking pale spotty waster kid but I'm as far from that stereotype as you could get. I'm not hurting anyone, but would the government rather I was out on piss being like all the other muppets and getting out of my face on booze? Of course they would because it benefits them. They make a fortune from drinkers and smokers. What do they get from the likes of little old me buying my bit of pleasure? Zero. Funny one gets banned while other substances are left freely available isn't it? It's so fucking unfair, makes me want to scream.

Oh no, someone now has to have human contact with a real drug dealer to score!

Stop being a fucking pussy, leave your bedroom once this weekend and start taking proper drugs

????? yep you've got me pegged there. Lol. Brilliant, I love a good presumption that you know everything about someone's situation, so you can judge them and tell them what to do. Also, FYI I may process a pussy but I sure as fuck aren't one. Just like to keep my life simple. Sorry if that offends you ?

No different than your presumption that all alcohol drinkers get into fights and go to bed with shit in their pants.

Being a cry baby that your shitty RC have been taken away is pretty standard around here.

Nothing wrong with a couple of cocktails followed up by a line of Coke.

It's not a presumption about alcohol. I was married to a man who did exactly those things you mentioned on a regular basis funnily enough. Strange....
