Nicest compliment you've received lately

one of my girlfriends friends said i was good boyfriend because im having a suprise birthday for her...

she will never know!
 
Im not sure if its a compliment but this lady asked me if i was gay because i have "style".

I've had so many compliments the last few days with reference to my family tragedy.
People telling me I'm so mature and strong and I have my head screwed on, and I'll get over this, and I'll use it as something positive at some point... really lovely things.

One that struck me today was a random comment by a stranger. He simply said,
"You have crazy amazing eyes." :).
 
SMS from breakyaself...

"You are one of the most awesome people I have ever met and one of the few people in my life that I trust, love and respect. It breaks my heart to hear you hurting so bad. There are so many better people in your life that also feel the same. Don't ever forget this! You are a beautiful person. He is an evil fuckwit."

Thanks babe. I stopped crying. :)

The super-successful boss of the store I work at. Owns a complete string of properties and businesses. He has all the magificent things that success can bring - regular international holidays (around one every 2 months), 3 Rolex's (with plenty more watches which are supposedly more expensive), a bunch of cars, contacts around the world...

So for him to look me over and see a level of potential was really quite a compliment indeed.

It would be a shame and kind of funny (NOT for you but :( ), if he felt the same way,but you both were afraid how the other would respond.

If you really want him,IMPLY some HUGE hint like : "What do you think of a guy and a girl that are good friends dating?" or "Can a guy and girl just be friends?".

Anyway,DO IT! DO IT!.............................. LOL! ;)

A friend of ours told me that I remind him of the singer, Vanessa Carlton. Personally, I don't see the similarity, but he says it's in the eyes. I think she has awesome eyes, so i guess it's a compliment. :)
 
Last weekend i got told i was the most responsible 18 year old this dude had ever met!!! so that certainly was nice, said that if i stayed the way i was that id be allriht and live a happy productive life!!!
 
I was being driven home by a workmate who is swapping positions with me (he's moving to the city office, i'm moving to the Upper Mount Gravatt office). We were talking about relationships and he said "We all think you're awesome out at UMG, and wonder why all girls can't be like you!".

He's only 18, such a sweetheart. It completely made my day :D
 
I ran into a girl I don't know very well on NYE and she told me that she was so glad to see me, cos she knew once she ran into me she'd have a much better time and she couldn't stop smiling.

Made me feel so special.
 
When a friend said my hair colour (just dyed it black then) brought out the green in my eyes.

And he's a guy (never thought they notice that stuff...), i was like awww.

"You could probably get a job using your head too, you know..." from the bitter girl at my work after someone tendered their resignation. :). She explained this as her way of saying even though I love the job I do, she thinks I could do really well in something that challenged me a bit more. Apparently I appear to always be in control and nothing phases me, therefore I could do this job with my eyes shut. :\.
Twisted compliments that make you screw up your face are funny. :).

"I walked past you and thought is that her? I looked back and thought yep', that's her all right - - - same ass." from a cheeky old friend from a past job. :):D:).
 
There was this woman at work training us all in manual handling, I had to help her out with all the newbies there, and as she was directing them over to me she described me as 'the tall, good looking ginger haired gentleman'. Now I know in that context she probably didn't mean it ;) but it still made me smile :D .
