Well I caught up with a friend who I hadnt seen since I was in a pretty bad state and she says God your looking great which isnt a huge compliment, but it was really nice to hear!

"Its so refreshing to have someone normal come and talk to me instead of half the freaks that try to pick me up."
This was just a random girl i talked to when out. Two things made me think this was the nicest compliment of late. First, I was described as normal (a very rare occurrence) and second was that she acknowledged the fact that i was trying to pick her up and that this wasn't a bad thing.
I still hold the idea that often the best compliment is the one that is unintentionally delivered.

Said to me by one of my brothers best mates, when he thought i was talking about vin diesel's latest film and then found out i was talking about something else.
Yes, it was ages ago. but i dont get compliments very often, and to hear that i have 'street cred' on my cinematic taste was quite pleasant to say the least.

On Friday morning I was coming down and feeling really dodgy. I was ridiculously tired but couldn't sleep, lying on a couch in a baggy shirt with ragged hair. My boyfriend sat beside me and told me I was beautiful.
