Nicest compliment you've received lately

one of my best friend bought me a bunch of daffodils today and told me i'm his favourite girl =D

i just love him to pieces
 
I was told by several people on the weekend that it's always good to see me because i always have a big grin on my face, i have really good energy and them seeing me lifts theirs :)

I was told somewhere during my stupidly huge weekend that whenever my name is mentioned, people always say I have had a positive effect on their lives.
I literally melted.
Couldn't really comprehend it until now, for reasons I will not specify.

yesterday my boss goes "shes quality value mate. thats why she's still here"...

and apart from me thinkn he was talkin bout a side of beef it was nice to hear ;)

today i got...

"if you ever come to this part of my country, i know people that would fall to their knees just to be in your presence. they love you."

i just laughed and went awwwweeee...
 
When I had to be in the city at 8.30 one saturday morning and was totally frustrated because I had to catch the train at about 7.30 a random guy at the train station said to me "Thats the nicest smile I've seen all morning"
It was cool, didn't even realize I'd been smiling but.
 
A bluelighter I don't know complimented me on a post I made in SLR... which was nice cos I'd hoped what I posted would be informative :)
 
I got told by someone who reads my livejournal that I'm a lot more intelligent than he originally thought....which I guess is a backhanded compliment, but hey I ain't complainin'.... ;)

Oh, and two of my friends didn't recognise me yesterday cause I looked so stylin' with my shaved head and new wardrobe...I choose to take that one as a compliment also.. ;)

=D How can he not love a girl who gets stuck in a bucket? [And no I wasn't vomiting. I was just trying it on for size.]
 
About a week ago I had a rather successful first date with my latest post-e crush. See she doesn't usually kiss on first dates, but for me she made an exception. ;)

Actions speak louder than words. :D
 
The nicest compliment I got this week was said by my mate Kristy (Who is good friends with lahlahgatecrasher) we were at our Deb party on the w/e and out of the blue she turned around and said 'You'r looking very nice tonight' you may not think it's the best complimnet, but it made my night and I was stoked. :) 8o

And after I fight down the strong impression of pink, and cuteness, I'm left with your obvious thoughtfulness and intelligence, which sometimes sits strangely amongst the colour and style.

Ultimately, if I were to venture out of my comfortable sphere, I think yours would be an interesting one to visit, though at this stage in my life, I think I'd be overwhelmed pretty quickly.

Coming from a guy who I normally fight non-stop with (though we're good friends and occasionally sleep with each other) I was pretty impressed :) though admittedly skeptical about its accuracy...
