Newcomers - Cold Water Extraction: Method Do's & Don'ts

What do you find are the best OTC's to use for this then? Scottish ones!
 
planning on getting some paramol today, gonna get a 32 pack then a 24 pack from the chemist around the corner (one pack just doesnt pack the punch lol), should i just put this all into one cwe or cwe each pack seperately?

edit, chems only had 32, thats likely to be 400mg DHC for both packs once filtered, might be a bit much esp on benzos, hmm might just do one and a half.

Does the CWE method work with Nurofen Plus ? They contain 200mg Ibuprofen and 12.8mg Codeine. Will the ibuprofen seperate easily like the paracetamol does ?
Not sure can get other codeine tabs so easily in Ireland
 
Yep that will work. Though the filter gets clogged a bit by the coating on the tabs.
Just have to be more patient as they filter :)
 
I am often depressed by the fact that I joined the OTC opiate scene after splittable N+ stopped being produced. Trying to CWE two packs of co-codamol in my lunchbreak was stressful to say the least.

Also, th3 s1aught3r, and anyone else who didn't know... Cuprofen Plus is the same as Nurofen Plus but about £2 cheaper if I remember right.
 
nurofen plus split fine last time i tried but with my memory that could be any point in the past 10 years
 
I'm pretty sure they changed things in around '04 or thereabouts. They'll still split but the sides aren't so obviously different in size, taste and consistency as they were. I hear some people damaged their stomachs trying to split the newer formula. I certainly made myself feel pretty sick.

I'll bet sales plummeted immediately afterwards. I mean why would you want to buy N+ when they CWE really badly, you can get cocos cheaper and the major selling point (from a recreational angle) is completely gone?

Yeah that's what I heard. And QFT on the sales dropping.
 
water should be (close enough to) clear (with most brands) and maybe a 10% loss (completely guestimated through experience) on codeine dosage if done reasonably well.

Yea man I remember a gushing torrent of posts asking "Which side do I split?" just after they'd stopped the splitability 8)

nolys - Yea with pretty much all brands (Nurofen+ aside due to the coating being water soluble) you will come away with a nice clear solution :)
And you can sometimes, after much practice and sometimes luck, get pretty much all the Codeine but, as Evad rightly says, you've got to expect ~5-10% loss most of the time.

thought i would of been able to miss a days meth cos of the script fuck up so now having to use the last of our prescribed co dyrdromol ... just hope my dad can still get them prescribed
 
just got a pack of paramol and is currently filtering now, takes so fucking long in coffee filters though.

Been a month since i last did it, im hoping tolerance should be way down!
 
^Bnb, surely the amount of paramol you get through would make it much more cost effective to just buy a kilo of pods? Mine's been much more cost effective, and i find it more enjoyable

i rarely buy it now, this was just a one off treat, i went through a phase of buying a few packs a week which was stupid for the money i agree.

I used to like pods, but everywhere seems to be selling old stock, no morphine content and sometimes mioldy.

I'll stop with the paramol though, this was just a one off, feels good though :)
 
I've got no real basis for comparison cause this is the first time I've bought pods. But i powdered them all up and about 6 tablespoons gets me where i want to be. Don't know whether this is a lot or not much or i have a high natural tolerance or what.
I think they are stock from 2010 though like you say.
 
been about 8 hours since i did the dhc, i kind of feel like a hangover effect and mildly nausous, is this common? the solution was near crystal clear even for paramol so im sure i havent od'd on paracetamol :p
