Newcomers - Cold Water Extraction: Method Do's & Don'ts

How did it go mate, has the deed been done yet or is it still filtering? You're watching every drip tease you as it slowly falls into the glass I bet.
 
I actually just started the process, about to start the filtering. I went with the kitchen roll folded 4 times. I was going to check in so if you don't hear from me in the next hour... worry lol. Nah if I have any doubts, I'm going to filter again a couple of times and if it still isnt satisfactory then ill just bin it. WDs are better than taking a trip to the ER.
 
I had a horrible MDMA experience a few years back. Since then, I've been very untrusting of anything I can't google. Oxy 30s were my comfort zone, but I'm miles out of that. One of the reasons I moved here was to get off them, but cold turkey isnt my idea of a fresh start. Tried to quit smoking cigs too... That lasted about 14 minutes of the first day of WD..
 
Good thinking, if you doubt it go with your gut instinct - basically, the less 'milky' the better, if there is any residue floating about then that is a bad sign too, check bottom of glass by holding it up to see. It will probably be 'cloudyish' I expect, just use your head, as there are a lot of pills (therefore a lot of paracetemol) going into this CWE.
 
Hahah not the sole reason. I have wanted to come back for a long time. I was raised here but moved to U.S when I was 11. I just had to get out of that environment. The town I lived in was good for nothing except getting high. Throw in some misdemeanors over there, and a suspended license... It was the right time for the move. I'm a dual citizen and I have family here, so I decided to run away from my problems instead of facing them.

Facing up to things is such a fucking hassle. People say 'don't bury your head in the sand', I just say '...but i like it here'.
 
Filter looks good, very slow and not at all milky. I'm concerned it may be too concentrated.. I'm not gonna lie, I didn't measure it out. Just eye-balled the amount of water.
 
As long as it covered the pills is the general rule of thumb. I have never actually measured it out either.
 
Lol that's the truth. An Opiate sand... I've been buried in it for 5 years. Never been to rehab, though I should have!

How should I store this stuff??
 
By my rough math, its 140mg of DHC after compensating for 30% lost in the process. Id rather not do that all tonight. Can I just throw it in the fridge uncovered?

Oh okay, maybe I should lol..

The ball of gunk that was left over is enough to turn me off taking any damn pill with APAP ever again. How long does it take to kick in? Sorry for all the questions lol

To be honest, I've never stored the solution after doing a CWE, it's always been done with the intention of drinking immediately.

I'm sure the fridge will be fine, but maybe another Bluelighter might be able to answer that.

Should be about 30 mins or so - depends if you've eaten recently and things?
 
Alright thanks for all your help Mushet. I'm gonna go smoke a cig and watch last weeks MotD lol. I'll check in within the hour to tell you whats up. Thanks again mate
 
CWE solutions really shouldn't be stored for any length of time, they have an alarming tendency to become a fungal Nirvana if you look away too often.

^^^^^ like sprouty said its hardly lab conditions and equipment best to cwe what you need then neck it - 24h mx inn the fridge. I'm surprised you were on a low stable dose of oxy - when i get te 80's after day 1 of taking 2 i up to 4 within 4-5 days, but then i do use alot of gear (h)

Well I have never been prescribed more than some Hydro 7.5s from the dentist. My roxy habit was fueled illegally. Every day was just a struggle to find some, some days worse than others. I was a college student trying to work 30 hours a week at a minimum wage job, all the while trying to support $25 a day (at least) habit. I managed to keep my job, but dropped out of school. I couldn't lose my job, it was what kept the roxys in my system. If I had a script of them.. psssch I don't even wanna think about how quickly I would take them. I've never had any chronic pain, I'm just a guy with a recreational opiate problem (it rules my life). I'm just counting my blessings that I never touched Heroin.. cause that was the next step for sure.

But yeah, I just went ahead and killed it all today. Didn't wanna BS around with trying to store it lol. As of right now, I feel a pretty mediocre opiate buzz, not much more. Been an hour and a half so not sure it'll get any stronger. First time so kinda walking blind lol.

Most importantly, it served its purpose to kick the WD. No more hot flashes and trips to the bathroom for tonight
