The micron filtering mega thread will be very helpful.

My nipples are fine. You can try going to an endocrinologist. It is possible that long-term use of full agonist opiates like heroin or methadone, prior to your use of buprenorphine, reduced endogenous testosterone and you may need an exogenous source of it. I am not sure what else would be the cause but I'm sure an endocrinologist would.

Thank You - C.H.

Hello everbody got a question that I am hoping you guys might have some anectdotal info on as I have scoured the net and there is only miniscule info about. Supposibly the strips have a unique number on them that is logged at the pharmacy and can be traced back to you if they are found to have been diverted to the street. Now to me that sounds like a load of bullshit but my curiosity is killing me on whether it is true or not does anyone know? I have like three different set of numbers on the packets the ony time I got the strips prescribed there was a lot number a NDC number and then some number written over blue background on the back. I just havent heard of any cases being brought against peope in this way and since it is a novel way to link people to drug dealing I figured there would be some info on it out there.

^however I'm sure the pharmacy can link it back to you. Especially if carrying the strips isn't the norm. I usually have to have my CVS order the strips a few days ahead of mine so if mine were found with someone else it would be super easy to track

I can shed a little light on this from personal experience. I know someone who procured a few strips in their individual packages and was pulled over during a traffic stop (they weren't legally his). There is a tiny scannable image (similar to a barcode) above the Exp. Date on the back of the packaging and the cop just scanned the back and it popped up with the script holder's information and what pharmacy they filled it at. They were then able to get the script holder's contact information from the pharmacy to bring charges against the holder of the prescription and the guy who had them illegally. I've heard it depends on the police department a little bit, not all of them have the means to scan the package and have to call the numbers in to the pharmacy -- but either way it's getting tracked back to whoever filled it.

For those who procure their Suboxone films without a prescription, I would ditch the packaging and re-package the strips in something else unless you have a great amount of trust for the source that you are procuring them from.

^yeah that shit is scary. I wouldn't want to risk it either way, though I imagine the average dumb-fuck cop here in NY wouldn't even know what the hell suboxone strips were.

I used to be prescribed the 8mg suboxone tablets which didnt dissolve well, and the 8mg films, which still took awhile but was better than the tablets. The film is actually somewhat cheaper than the pills as well. The only time I felt high on it was the first time I took it I started to fall asleep in the passenger seat lol.

Also, the 2mg films dissolve really well, much faster than the 8mg ones.

it's the nalaxone in the subxone. it's a horrible useless substance. it's literally killing me with its headaches and joint pain

narcan gave me the twitches so i been n subutex the whole time. Looks like now I have no choice but to switch. damn!!

First post in awhile...been to 1 rehab and 2 detoxes in the past 3 months trying to kick dope. I have used suboxone pills in the past to stay clean for the longest I've been which is about 1 year on the subs. Without the subs I only lasted a week n a half after my last detox (which used methadone taper to detox, so when i left i felt sick from that too). Now I just found a doc and it's the same old story as when I first got on subs. I walked in there, filled out my info, went to the her office and she took my blood pressure, asked me what and how much i was using, last use etc. 5 minutes later I'm leaving with a script for 16 #8mg pills, which are supposed to last a week before I come back to get another script. Well the script alone cost my poor mother $125.00...and they want that every single week I come back. Not possible, so I intend to stretch these 16 8mg sub films for about a month, as I am currently on a waiting list at three methadone clinics since my whole area only has 5 clinics and all are full. So i intend to use this one script to tide me over until I can get on my methadone script, which my Medicaid will totally cover. I also have Aetna but found out I needed to be pre-approved for them to cover the suboxone films at the pharmacy. So I was able to fill half my 16 count script, so 8 total for $80.00 freaking bucks! Does anyone know if by tomorrow when I am approved by my insurance company to pay for the rest of the pills, iss there a process to get refunded for the ones I had to pay out of pocket for today? I just could not wait another day being sick so I'm blessed I am privileged to be on this medication for the time being, otherwise I would be out robbing and stealing for my next high every 4 hours, or in bed, depressed, wanting to kill myself dopesick as can be. The reason I intend to go on the methadone in the fture is because I nor my family cannot simply afford to pay the sub doctor $125 a week, every fucking week, just so he can write the script. My old sub doc charged me $200 first visit and wrote me a full months script, and was only $70 every month after. Did I just go to a shitty scamming piece of shit doctor? Admittingly I was pretty sick and desperate and went to the first place on the list on the suboxone website in my area. So I didn't really shop around too much. Thanks for any help..

BC/BS reimbursed me except for my copay when I was in that situation but they needed a pre-auth from my doc not the pharmacy. If you have a deductible they'll just apply amount owed to you to that. I've worked with all kinds of insurances and Aetna and BC/BS pretty much follow the same protocol.

georgie25, are you saying medicaid wont cover the suboxone?? I just got on medicaid thinking it would, but if this is not true I'm going to be fucking pissed!

I've also had the same problem over the last two years with my suboxone, once I had to switch over to my college's health insurance, they no longer paid for the suboxone. I went from paying a 10$ copay, to about 300 a month, and actually it was my mom who paid for it too. This is why I hate R&B. They act like they're some righteous warriors in the battle against addiction, when really, if they wanted to help out, they'd just let suboxone go generic, or admit to the naloxone scam and let us uncovered bastards get subutex.

Um so the cop had a scanner and scanned their film and all their pharmacy information came up; how exactly does that work?? What kinda scanner and system is this I've never heard of it...

Cops accessing medical information.. Did this personally happen to you? Cause that seems like some high tech shit... As far as i Knew the strips can only be traced back to the pharmacy they went to...

Also i don't understand the personally actually watched the cop scan them?

This didn't happen to me personally but someone who I have known since I was a kid. He was pulled over in a nicer suburb and the police there have more expensive tools, especially now that Gov. Kasich is really cracking down on prescription abuse. On the back of the package that contains the film there is a barcode-like thing that can be scanned. I think it's called a QR Scanner (not sure) and they even make apps that will scan them.

I guess I worded it a little weird. He didn't see the cop scan it but after claiming that he had done nothing wrong, the cop went back to his own vehicle and then the cop came back and told him that he was able to scan the film packet in his vehicle and figure out who the original script belonged to by contacting the pharmacy and verifying the information from it.

It didn't happen to me so I don't know every single little detail but either way, they can find whatever the information the pharmacy has about the scriptholder.

Jeez what if I have a film strip rx too and I accidentally swap just one 8mg film and it's the same damn dosage wtf difference does it make? I don't have a damn scanner, things look all the same to me ;)

I mean I'm glad this system exists; if someone stole my strips, I'd want them found and the culprit sentenced with the crime. Many docs, even if you have the police report, are very wary of re-prescribing more bupe to you, because so many addicts would just cheat the system over and over again for more bupe.

So if you had your films stolen and had to kick w/o them, you'd be happy if one day someone found them and you could get them back.

I received a new script today for the 8mg/2mg Suboxone film strips. I noticed when I mixed a 1mg piece up, it did not produce the same light orange color that I'm used to seeing. Is there a new formulation or something. I mean, the piece looked orange as I let it sit in the 1-2mL water, then when I went to mix it with the oral syringe it went clear on me. I was confused.

Not that it matters, but has anyone else experienced this? Any IVers?

Yes i know exactly what your talking about. The strips turn slightly cloudy whever you put the water on them. I believe that the pills have more ingredients and coloring in them than the strips. In my opinion the strips are considerably better than the pills.

Just make sure you dont start IVing the suboxone off the gate when you start dosing. Its ok to do with subutex but whenever im withdrawing enough to dose and i shoot a suboxone film or pill i get a very unpleasant, uneasy, anxious feeling for about 15 mins then im fine. Its not a precipitated withdrawal(im very familar with that unfortunately).

So i take a very small piece( like 1 mg) at first and i wait a couple hours so that it gets on my receptors and then i start IVing suboxone. Ive found this works best when i have no subutex and just suboxone. I talked to a lot of other people that have had this same expierence happen to them also.

Does that have anything to do with the entire strip being, I guess you would say, uneven? I get hit or miss strips. Some are normal, solid orange all the way through. More often then not, I get strips that ar not proportioned. Like they crumble in certain spots and are really thick in others. I've seen it all now. Even spots all over where the spots were thicker. Shitty manufacturing or long crazy shelf life?
Im walking a tight rope around the ceiling so I can't tell if some parts are more potent than others (iv).

My friend lost his brand new script of 120 8mg strips (yes his doctor gives 4 daily lol..he came from methadone to the clinic). He actually left it on the bench in the court room and it was turned into police. To claim it he had to proove serial numbers becuase it was just loose in the individual packets in like a ziplock. Apparently the pharmacy had thses serials on file and they were able to print it for him so he had proof they were actually his.

Lol that ufkcing blows for reall that they can track your suboxone script. Thanks got for generic subutex. No tracking devices in those fuckers
