Bupe *New Suboxone film * official thread*

I just now found out that they have 12mg/3mg strips as well as 4mg/1mg. I only knew of the 2mg/.5mg strips. Jeez! I'm on the 8mg/2mg currently. Used to be on 16mg of sub a day but weaned appropriately down over 2 months. I plan to stay on one 8mg strip a day for quite some time.

I just started the film tonite. I have used the pills for years and the last batch I got from some lousy generic company gave me headaches. They were big white pills, tasted like shit and I felt like shit taking them. But, they did keep me out of withdrawl. The film says NOT to cut, I'm afraid the part I don't take will lose potency. The stuff is very expensive so I don't want to waste it. If I cut the film and take it (I got the new high doseage) and take it over 2days, will be still be as effective? Anyone who can awser this. My DR is an idoit and just wants my $, won't even answer any questions. I got awful headful from the crummy generic pills & afraid to take pills again as I'd probably get the same ones. Costco is the only place I can afford to fill. My DR is too lazy to do a prior authorization, if she did my ins would pay. I will find another Dr. In the meantime. Cutting OK?????

Cutting the film is completely fine. The buprenorphine is spread out evenly through the strip so it makes cutting your dose down very accurate.
 
i'm wondering how many mgs of suboxone i would need to take to get high sublingually? i have no tolerance to opiates. my brother gave me an 8mg/2mg strip..i'm hearing anywhere from .3mg-1mg i weigh about 145 lbs & don't want to be throwing up
 
^ I would recommend 1mg sublingually at the most, which is equivalent to 40mg oral hydrocodone, but I would even try 0.5-0.75mg as a more perfect first time dose.

I have seen non opiate tolerant people get absolutely loaded, puking, sweating, from just a fraction of a piece of suboxone. Take .5mg's or preferably, .25mg's.
 
I've been on subs now for almost a year. I take 16 mgs. ( 2 8 mg. strips a day)
I used to get an awesome buzz, that euphoria we're all after.
but now that I've been on them so long, they do almost nothing. I want that buzz back, dammit!!
so, here's the question: how can I get high on them again???
(spoken like a true dope-fiend!!)
I've thought of going without for awhile, but then, that's almost impossible! if I keep taking more than I'm prescribed, then i'll run out!
so... what's this about snorting them?
how do you snort a film/paper?
I used to snort my opanas/oxycontins, etc...
so, no problem there, but just how do you do it, or is it a waste?
someone out there, please let me know, ok?

I agree about suboxone being expensive but they figure you can spend money on the streets for it you can spend it with them now i guess. I got a 5 day supply and it was no prices for generic pills 8-2 and I wanted them for tramadol/ultram withdrawl but it didnt seem to help so i got back on my ultrams and am on the suboxone at the same time for now and will be off subs in a few days and was wondering if i will have a withdrawal from being on them for a week?

Soo, im on my 2nd week taking two 8mg strips 12 hrs apart. I was using pills (anything like painkillers) for about 3 years then in january i started doing dope. Started out small but ended up snorting like a bundle a day. My question is, is this a high enough dose? Still feeling pretty shitty and have wd symotoms. Thanks for any and all advice:)

ide say that's a high enoughdose when 1mg is about 40mg hydrocodone. did you say you take 2 8mg pills twice a day so 32mg? if so then quit now before you end up screwing your body up

Ha don't ya love that? That's why I started reading dates first. I've done that with threads, I see a question, craft this detailed response to that persons particular situation, then see the date and realize the thread is 4 years old and that person hasn't even been active in almost just as long. :\

I should mention this is prescribed, am also going to therapy, and ill be trying na meetings next week. Trying to get clean here:)
 
why can't addicts ever use drugs as prescribed. Directions may say 1 every 4 hours turns into crushing,snorting, shoving up the ass. I'm talking about drugs for treatment. It may say place under tongue and turns into shooting into arm, yep, shoving up the ass (popular the ass method is). I hate to see how microwave dinners get manipulated, anyone shove a popsicle up the butt. Maybe besides admitting one has a problem the second one would be to start using drugs as directed. Youtube video of addict in treatment, throws microwave dinner in boiling pot of boiling water, sniffs a line of coffee, crushes a donut and shoves it up the butt and finally takes a Sub under the tongue, then proceeds to rip out pages of book as they finish reading it, go to the gas station and fill up gas containers and drive home and then use a funnel to empty containers into car for a fill up.
