Bupe *New Suboxone film * official thread*

For some reason I can't understand the strips don't work NEARLY as well..I could take a 1/4 of a sub pill but I need a whole film to feel the same effect. It makes no sense!
 
I just took for my first time:.2 mgs sub film sublingualy then waited 20 mins
And didn't fee/ so decided to iv 1 mg and it instantly sent me into precipitated. Withdrawls :(
As of rite now bout 30 mins later the wd signal aren't so bad

What I want to know is...

When will the wirhdrawl@ go away?

Should I take more bupe to feel good ? Will taking more SUBOXONE even ma?e me feel better?
And what do u feel like once the PW aregone? R u still sick or well afterwards??
 
I was using suboxone for a few months to treat opiate withdrawls and eventually stopped going to the Doc because of financial reasons. But I went yesterday and was talking to my reg doctor because i caught a bad case of the flu. I told him I was having a problem getting off of the Oxy and he gave me a coupon and a rx for the suboxone film I am impressed it's a whole lot better then the pill.. Works so much better for IV!!
 
Can someone tell me how to prep the film for IV use? I was thinking to just simply dissolve the film into non-heated water and filter into syringe. Is it this simple?
 
^this has certainly been discussed before (probably in this thread) but essentially yeah... you certainly want to micron filter it, but essentially the prep will be the same as with pills or other drugs that are injected.
 
It is the exact same prep as the pill you will need a filter as with anything your gonna inject it's best to filter.. Also make sure to use plenty of water with it so that it's not syrup like..
 
Question??? I took two of the sub film yesterday and injected 8mgs later that night. However I couldn't help myself today when I came across some roxys I main lined 2 and was ok but not high so i did 3 more of them and It sent me strait into withdrawl. I always thought oxy before sub no good but sub before oxy was ok would just take alot more to feel.. What did I do wrong??
 
^if its filtered properly, the consistency shouldn't be a problem. If its syrup-like after you're filtering, you're not doing a good job filtering. Adding more water doesn't make it safer, just makes the insolubles you're injecting not appear as bad.
 
I'm new to suboxone and have a few questions... Okay so my doctor recently put me on suboxone films for heroin withdrawls. I'm on 3 8mg's a day which is a bit over kill but I'm not complaining. I have to go in for weekly ua's to make sure I'm not still using heroin and he told me that if I try to shoot it or snort it the naloxone will make me sick and it will also show up in my ua so he'll know I've been abusing it. Is this true? And also if you use more than directed does it get you high.
 
As has been mentioned before, the bupe is so powerful it completely bonds to your opiate receptors. So much so that the naloxone doesn't even effect you. Coming from someone who has IV'ed the suboxone pills as well as strips, I can tell you they certainly don't put you into withdwawal and can be quite euphoric at times.

I'm not sure what they could test for in a UA that could detect you have been IV'ing it, but I don't doubt there is something they could test for that could show it. Hopefully someone with more knowledge can give us some more insight on that
 
Gotta vent this: Hate how the manufacturers place the strip facing vertically upward. When tearing the material, which can waver to begin with, the amount of clearance above the strip and the bag's crimped edge is needlessly small. Lay that strip down, like a precious child, on it's long-end.

And maneuvering the tear above the tall strip usually involves grabbing the bag over the strip, thereby ripping it. Think, people.
 
So confused...

I live in VT...and according to every doc here the only way that you can recieve subutex is if you are pregnant, or have numerous documented allergic reactions to naloxone. I HATE the naloxone it gives me the WORST migraines in the world, and while I was on the subutex while I was pregnant felt great. So damn whatthe hell are you people doing that Im not??!! Would def love to be done with the migraines seeing as I have enough from screaming kids all day as is...can anyone explain??
 
I don't have insurance at the moment and I'm going to see my MD tomorrow to try to get put on suboxone.. But since I don't have insurance, I'll have to pay out of pocket for it, so I'm thinking I should try to convince him to switch me to generic subutex? Or is there generic suboxone that will be cheaper? I doubt he would want to put me on subutex since I'm an IV opiate user, so how would I best sell this situation?

I wouldn't be so scared of it if I knew CMSP covered suboxone since they will reimburse me, but I don't know that for sure and I don't know the exact price of suboxone here and whether or not I have enough money.
 
Can someone tell me how many milligrams are in the film? It's really important I took half of one and I really need to know.Thanks
 
This is only indirectly related to the topic of this thread. I was just thinking about how much shit I read from US BL'ers about prices of consults, medications etc. It sounds really heavy.

In Australia virtually every doctor can be see free of charge; the doctor gets his pay from the government. In Sydney where I am, any doctor that doesn't subscribe to this scheme and insists on charging the customer, is seen as totally crooked and greedy. I don't think I've ever paid for an appointment in my life: psychologists, psychiatrists, physiotherapists, surgeons....and bupe typically costs 10-12 dollars Australian per dose irrespective of your dose, with methadone costing 8-10.

I suppose on the flipside we deal with the most conservative customs laws in the civilised world. Whenever I look at countries to have banned things (kratom, poppies, whatever) it's like, "Zimbabwe, Laos, Ghana, Bangladesh, Australia, Arab Emirates. Pretty embarrassing. S.
 
I've been IVing the suboxone pills for a few months now, since I don't have insurance and a 150$ dr. visit on top of a multi hundred dollar script is a hell of a lot more pricey than the 150$ I pay for 15 pills to last me 30 days since I only need 4mg a day.

I've been reading this thread for awhile now after a weird effect I had from IVing the strips for the first time tonight.

I mixed around 70units with 2mg of film, dissolved and injected. After the injection I started to get this weird scratchy feeling in my entire throat. Then I began to feel a pain/bloating kind of feeling in my chest/heart area. It moved down to my solar plexus and turned into a stabbing pain but this only lasted a short time. I then felt various little pains in my right arm and in my left lung but it was an area about the size of a rib going around the entire lung. This lasted about 45-60 minutes, and now around 3.5 hours later when I swallow I can feel it go all the way down my throat, and then it sort of "stops" at an area at the top of my stomach. I still have this feeling at the top of my stomach and it's constant, it's very annoying and slightly nauseating.

I'm going to IV another 2mg tomorrow when I wakeup and see if this was a reaction or if it was simply weird timing, since I've had the sensation of bloating in my chest before.

Hopefully this isn't a reaction to something that's in the pill, or we might have some problems.

no idea.. the solution was for the person i was showing how to make it.. i have only IV'd tabs but haven't done that in a while now. but you need to have a low tolerance to catch a high off your bupe if you are on maintenance, but a bupe high is very subtle when you take it daily (even at <1mg doses)

No offense man, and I'm not trying to prove you wrong or anything, but I catch a high every day off my subs and like I've said before I'm on a maint program. Anyone else feel the same way?
