There's another new pale green powder that became available last week. Don't propose to put the name, only one place carries it so might be considered sourcing. Apart from the odd colour I would swear it was mephedrone. Smelled like the stinky version, felt like on the nose and in effects. Same disgusting dark stinky piss through slightly constricted kidneys, same desire to re-dose, same compulsion for internet filth etc.

I think when you throw statements like that about it needs to be followed by the fact, as far as I understand it anyway, that the police were given details of people who had purchased 2c-i from some American website, they weren't given details of amounts. So they wouldn't know if that person had bought 100mg or 100kg.

Oh they were, they just wanted to make an example of those people to curb the importation of CD bought over the internet (both Izzy & I know because we were victims. I discussed it with the police who visited me & they had records of how much had been spent by each person via their credit catd (and £50 does not buy you 100kg of 2C-I!)

Did the vendor himself inform the customs/police about UK residents ordering illicit (in UK) substances and also supplied the officials with info about the identity and quantity of the chemicals in question?

This would be something really disturbing.

Or were the orders confiscated by the UK customs and analyzed by the customs lab?

If this is the case there's not really anything to talk about. This is just normal all over the world and anyone ordering anything illegal into his/hers country should be conscious about the risks and consequences.
 
Ah sorry, fair does. I'd thought it was just a list of names & addresses as oppose to amounts. What did the police actually do then? Surely just a record of you spending money with this particular person/company doesn't automatically mean you broke any laws?

LivingOnValium - Again, I may be wrong here but my understanding was that the supplier got busted by American cops/feds & they passed the records to UK police.

Surely that would just be one company that came under the radar though? Not the work of customs. If it was one company of course they will milk the operation for all it's worth and bust anyone they can.

Agreed they have bigger problems inland at the moment but lets not forget what happened in operation webtryp. America gave the addresses of people from the UK who had purchased PEA/Tryps that were illegal and they were SEVERELY punished and made examples of even for small amounts.
 
I've been very interested in 6-APB since May but still not gone to purchase any.

Powder form is now becoming more available, from prices ranging from £20 - £100/g. I'm going to wait atleast a month for the market to adapt and for purity and price to level out.

Lets just hope a temp (READ: permanent) ACMD ban is not going to come quicker than everyone thinks.
 
I thought it was mentioned that the ban wouldn't be in effect till the end of next year.

This (re)announcement was all a big PR exercise anyway, the timing was no coincidence, it was just a response to the latest round of hysteria in the tabloids last week about "ivory wave" and to make it look like they're on the case and to keep middle england happy. This has been in the manifesto since June and Teresa May actually said last month it will be brought in by next autumn.

The reason I ask is that it's pay day tomorrow, so considering investing in a gram of it from whatever vendor appears most reliable... No vendor chat though of course, so harm reduction becomes drug roulette...

No that's democracy, which is the best we can do currently. But we don't really even have that nowadays. More like government making our decisions for us, not as if we get a referendum on anything these days. The best would be to have the ability to vote for local government devoid of centralism on such issues but that will never happen.
