That would be my fear - that it's a changing formula. Of all the 'legal highs' I've had, meph was easily my favourite, but there are loads of current/previous legal highs (mdpv, for example) they could chuck in there that I wouldn't appreciate at all.

The place I've seen selling them makes no claims as to what's in them.

I mostly only order 1g of whatever at a time (particularly if it's something as complusive as meph) - I'm not sure it would be worth plod's while. I've (almost) been tempted to order meph from abroad, which would be a far riskier endeavour.
 
I really don't think customs/police really give two shits about people ordering from abroad, I think they have bigger issues than the odd gram or 2 being sent to an address.

I reckon if they caught you they might not necessarily come to your door right away, but no doubt a record will be made

Anybody know if 4-MEC is illegal in the UK? Probably will, but it's not explicitly mentioned in the cathinone ban.

You know the more cynical side of me wonders whether the papers are actually in league with law enforcement in some manner. Pretty easy to hype up a source, get all the 'junkies' buying from them and then raid them and take the database.

Is it just me who's that paranoid?

But even if not exactly 'in league with' surely the cops will be most interested in these suppliers and their databases, no?

Hype up a source of legal drugs? So that the cops can't raid them & have no use for their database? Aye, that sounds likely.

Yeah, except these sources often also sell things like the NRGs - and the cops would be well aware that many of these brand names are covers for illegals now.

Also, with super-fast-ban-hammers (tm) coming around the corner there's a distinct possibility of them raiding a previously legal supplier on the morning of the substance becoming illegal.

I realise it's being paranoid, but I'm staying well clear of these celebridealers ;)

Not a theory, more a thought. Wasn't there word around somewhere of people being visited by the cops during the legal mephedrone binge-era? Not to charge them, but to question them on the suppliers selling substances for human consumption. I could swear I read that somewhere on here...

Never, EVER make the mistake of thinking the police have anything "better to do". They don't. I've known them spend 9 months on a case of someone importing 100mg of 2c-i.

Busting people for tiny amounts of drugs is nice easy work for them and keeps their arrest quota up.
