New decade resolutions

I'm gonna party as much as i can!

(serieusly been on a drugbreak for a year, havent done much, i desever it this year!)
 
My goal is to continue recovering from this mega illness I've had for the past year and progressively re-enter the human race. Missed out on so much in 2009, 2010 shall not be the same!
 
I seldom make New Year never mind new decade resolutions :| tis never the best time of year for me to make changes. I'm more a springtime girl - that is my new year %)

But one is becoming more and more noticeable - I'm going to have to really start reducing the harm I'm doing myself from my use. Or I won't see the next decade :(

Good luck Kate. This is my fifth decade on this planet and I sometimes wonder how I've lasted so long. But love and encouragement and a bit of physical exercise work wonders. Plus I gave up fags five years ago. Will try cut down on stims and benzos this year. Best wishes to all.<3
 
I'm not big on resolutions but since I'm on a comedown with added hangover goodness I can say give up smoking and get a job without fear of reprisals since I'm not in full control of my faculties :D

like 2 or 3 at a time? you'll be safe from the aids but it won't be much fun
 
Nah, just wear one each time. Been taking many chances.

FYI, wearing more than one at a time increases risk of infection.

Me too!

My other resolution is to stop splitting my split ends. I never thought to mention it to the CBT OCD lady and I can spend up to an hour or two a day doing it cos I drift off. It is RUINING my hair.

But it's so fun :(

You had the "Shit people my age die and it's not that uncommon an occurrance" moment of clarity? A couple of years ago I realized I'm well past the age our cavemen ancestors averaged in lifespan - about 35 years - and from here on in I'm of an age where peoples death certificates read 'natural causes' 8o. Sort of had a crisis of being old with the whole 3MeOPCP affair, proved to myself my number could be called at a moments notice and have since set about identifying the most harmful aspects of my lifestyle and eliminating them; hence the zero ketamine intention. Next it's stimulants (who's use I've rather increased over xmas & new year) and that'll leave cannabis & psychedelics, which I have no intention to give up for the foreseeable future (might even get Savitex/medical cannabis prescribed by the pain management clinic for phantom limb pain :) ) as they have a positive effect on me; a lot of this change has been brought about by psychedelics and they're fairly benign physically so I see no reason to stop (I don't mean entactogens such as MDMA, which I have no desire to take for the most part, but are more harmful than the traditional psychedelics such as LSD)


To quote Inspector Drefuss (Herbert Lom) from the Pink Panther films (think it's Revenge of the Pink Panther), "every day, in every way, I'm getting better & better"!
 
It scares me when you count your age in decades because it makes me realise that this is the fourth decade I'll experience.
 
Mine might seem a little vague but it's sincere and pretty well true.

I've gotten the drinking under serious control and the drugs are practically nonexistent. They all have to go as of pretty much now since I'm entering a technical schooling program that's all paid for assuming I meet up to their standards, one of which being pass a drug test. It's an excellent opportunity and pretty much a do or die thing for me at this stage of my life.

I wish everyone luck in theres and send some positive oscillations to the sun gods for ya!
