clear solution came out
but it all depends on what tablets u use

Codeine extraction - from water-soluble aspirin/codeine tabs...

I have access to an unlimited supply of 500 mg aspirin/10 mg codeine in water-soluble pills. The resulting drink is fizzy and lemony-tasting, but I really want to get rid of that aspirin.

I've read the normal CWE method, but I was wondering if the process with these pills could be easier, or different.

Any pointers?

EDIT: Damnit, just found this in the mega-cwe thread:
"Also, there are some preparations of aspirin that are soluble in water. A CWE will not work on these medications."

But how can you know which ones can be used and which ones can't?

merging BlackOut's post into the mega thread.

pretty much any apap/codeine solution is going to be water soluble from my understanding. its a matter of just taking one and putting it into a glass of water and stirring to test it out. if it dissolves, you're in business.
 
I keep refreezing my CWE after getting lcear solution and on defrost i get more sludge and white stuff out bottom that precipitates out after being frozen. what is this.

so many useless not on topic or not helpfull posts on these threads. now rolls is not posting because of a lot of these people he has had problems with. From what he said to me its lazy, junkie, selfish people that just wanna get high and not help others. I don't know how many times over the years i have seen the same questions answered over and over.

Note: i have frozen and unfrozen many times and filtered and i this must be the 3rd time i gotten clear solution only to have more precipitates, sludge, white stuff come out after freezing what is this shit.

^ You can. Its not going to be pure codeine/hyrocodone/etc (it will have some APAP in it, as well as whatever binders in the pill are water soluble). You could get it down to a powder to make it easier to consume, but don't do anything wacky with it (why? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pulmonary_edema). <---- So you should stay away from snorting/shooting. Taking it orally would be your best bet, in terms of bioavailability (most cost efficient) and safety.
