[NBOMe Subthread] Tolerance

So i understand i am posting this a long time after the OP, but i am new to forums and am wondering something related to the topic. 4 days ago i orally took 500ug of 2C-I-NBOMe thinking it were lsd without a noticeable result. Today i found out that what i took was in fact the 2C-I-NBOMe and am currently wondering whether or not my tolerance would be up considering there weren't any affects the first time? I am hoping to take more soon but if it would be a waste then ill just wait the extra week and a half :/.
 
If there were no effects then the tolerance gain will be minimal, you probably don't need to worry about it.
 
I've been tripping on 25d/25i every 6-9 days for a month now and it seems for me that it takes 2x the previous amount to get a good trip, but tolerence will still be noticable. It's been 11 days since I've tripped and tonight I plan to see how close my tolerance is to baseline with 1.6mg 25d.
 
I can agree with the the others that to the OP, this is one of the dumbest most wreckless posts I have ever read on BL. The OP has no business using any type of drug or giving them to others until they educate themselves about these chemicals. Its people like this that kill themselves, create stigma and media hype, and ruin drugs for the rest of us responsible users.

PS to the OP: Nbome's are very wonderful chemicals, great experience, clean after effects and day after effects with little hangover....if you know what you are doing and taking of course.
 
25c tolerance

When does 25c tolerance go away, if it goes away? Is 1 week long enough to get 0 tolerance, or close to 0?
 
5-7 days should be enough for the tolerance to be near zero. 14 days and it tolerance would be resettet as the above poster is saying.

4 Weeks is overshooting it, the tolerance is at baseline way sooner.

The tolerance would be almost identical with 2C-B and 2C-B's tolerance is near zero after 7 days.

The nBomes are known to have a longer lasting tolerance than most other psychedelics, including the 2c-x's.
 
At the end of the week you need a dose of 160% for equal effects, or at least IME. Do that too often though and you'll end-up with lasting tolerance, which for me lasted a bit over a month before my trips were anything near normal. Best to wait 2 weeks at least, but tolerance does last longer than that albeit slightly, not really noticeable. Again, dose consecutively too often and that tolerance starts building.

The tolerance from the NBOMe series of psychedelics lasts longer than those of the 2C-X series, 2-3 weeks is more of a reasonable estimate than 7 days. Though I wouldn't recommend taking them every 2-3 weeks, as just like taking most psychedelics every week you might find you don't need to increase your dose much/at all but the novelty, magic, and insights will quickly fade.

Yeah, that's what I meant to say!

and also if you're looking for novelty, magic, and insights better keep it to 6 times per year at the most. People on here don't realize tolerance isn't simply receptor upregulation or downregulation... it is the brain building pathways because it is getting used to the stimuli it is being exposed to. The body will do this in response to everything to maintain homeostasis. If you want to experience something new or exciting then you must keep it new and exciting. Overusing something just makes it a habit, even if it's once a month. A once a month habit is still a habit... and psychedelics shouldn't be a fix that you have to put a timer for yourself on. In other news I'm considering tripping for the third time this week.

Hey guy I took about 600ug of 25b nbome by holding it in my lip (sublingualy? Or bucally?) on the 20th and want to does again. If I took 1mg intranasally would I trip again? If it is possible what would be the best way to dissolve a 1mg blotter in water. They are from a trusted vendor and are 1mg 25B-nBOME HCl
 
Hey welcome to Bluelight / PD.

It's best to wait at least a week. Otherwise tolerance can make the effects less worthwhile and dosage is more unpredictable for this reason. It is hard to predict exactly what will happen or how much you would need to take to combat tolerance because it depends on the dose you took previously and it varies per individual and per substance. I would not recommend dosing higher than that 1 mg to try and maximize effects anyway.

If you just put the blotter in a snortable amount of water and soak and squeeze it for a while, the HCl salt should eventually be taken up by the water. You could do this by placing drops of water on the blotter to oversaturate it with wetness, then squeeze it out into a small container after 10-20 seconds, then repeat a few times. I'd use something resembling a thimble so that it is appropriate for the small volume.

When you're ready, cut a small piece off a straw and snort the solution. You can do a test run a while before this so that you are able to tell how much liquid will cause a drip, and what won't.

Thanks. I ended up dosing again with a 1mg blotter in my lip. Considering it had only been 3 days I was surprised at how hard I visually tripped. I had just as strong visuals as my 600mcg trip. On the other hand my headspace was totally clear. Usually I get rather confused or more so my thoughts explode into oblivion. This time that did not happen and I could think totally clearly. I like this drug more so for how it makes music sound and that didn't so much happen. If you looking for a mental trip make sure you wait a while between doses. Otherwise my visuals were as strong as before. Just thought I'd share.
Also how long do you think it would take for the maximum amount of drug be absorbed into the water?
 
Hello. Planing on dosing 25B tonight, one 1200mcg complexed blotter bucally. Previously tested these same blotters at 2/3 - about 800 mcg nasally (sinked blotter in alcohol solution, insufflated) and liked it very much but I want a stronger trip.

I did 25mg of 2c-b 7 days ago and 6mg of 5-meo-mipt 3 days ago. Do you think there will be much cross-tolerance so I should dose higher? I don't want to be overwhelmed as I will be doing this with my gf, who doesn't have much experience with psychedelics
