I've been stinging to see Social Distortion for at least 5 years. I would also like to go to throw things at Pennywise for not breaking up 3 albums and one singer ago.

Bronx always kick arse and something has been telling me I should have been into the Melvins for years, still have to check them out properly.

Good opportunity to beat MXPX and The Ataris up for the societal monster they helped create in emo kids.

I'm keen as a muthafucker for this! :D

But having said that, I went to Soundwave this year and it's a pretty crap festival overall. They seem to get by just by having cracking line ups every year. Hey, whatever works I suppose :p

What do you mean about it being a crap festival Nicky?

Also, clearer image.

You have a boyfriend?? Spewin :(

;)

By crap festival I mean it wasn't very well organised compared to others. Long drink lines, expensive drinks, sold out of stubbie coolers in an hour etc I'm sure I had more complaints at the time but it was 6 months ago. I can't really complain tho cos I did have a great day either way. Faith no more were fucking amazing :D

I've seen Less Than Jake before and they kinda sucked but Mad Caddies should be skank tastic, in that 1990s Warped Tour kinda way.

What the fuck happened to 3rd wave ska anyway? I remember when I used to hate the ska kids like I hate the emo kids now. Oh for ska kids to be the bane of my festival existence again. Sigh.

I preferred the 2010 line up, although I'm sure next years Soundwave will still be awesome nonetheless..

Hopefully they open up the showgrounds (I'm in Melbourne) a bit more than last year. There was a lot of over-crowding and bottlenecks, but I guess that's to be expected. I thought it was a lot better run than the likes of Stereosonic etc.. I guess there are variables like, different crowd, all ages compared to 18+, capacity etc that factor into that though..

Eagerly awaiting second announcement..:)

Oh, I gotcha Nicky. I guess it depends on which one you went to, the Perth one was very well planned I thought.

if this festival was 10 years ago i would of been over the moon. There are still 8 more bands to be announced in October.

Good chance one of them is going to be the band formally known as korn... korn III. they fuckin died when Head left that band.

I hope QOTSA do a sideshow, with either Sevendust, 36 Crazyfists or Ill Nino as support... but i doubt it...

Everytime i see that festival... i see so much anger and hard bands... then piss myself laughing when i see Third Eye Blind...

last few soundwaves were sik, but something just aint doin it for on me this time, maybe the 8 still to be announced will change that.

Maiden, Slayer & Primus! +1 for me! =D

Its like being back in the early 90's again!

Perth was well organised this year except for security escorting me out for being intoxicated! :p

Had to buy another ticket to get back in so I could see Faith No More but was well worth it! :D:D:D
