Every year for the past 3-4 years I've been looking for magic mushrooms on and off, and I have had no luck. I visited about 4 paddocks with cows today after a couple days of rain and nothing. I hate mushroom hunting. :|

Well then I'm stumped, because I keep finding pink elephants!

Man if you can get hold of some magic mushrooms grown in pink elephant poo they would be awesome !

I'd start with like 1/2 a gram, who knows how strong they could be :)

Heh. I went out to another few cow paddocks today and still no luck. I honestly don't think I'm ever going to find magic mushrooms.

Gotta have the last say don't ya :p look I didint mean to offend you or risk anyone's life by making a mistake in naming the type mushroom of I think i have.im now %99 sure I have an active subs the ones with the nipple looking little lump in the middle of a golden brown mushroom(s) the spore prints are brown with a tinge of purple just like bruising. going brown as u squeeze them tight with small purple droplets going more and more purple over time once dried the bruising goes a very dark purple or blue. I mean it really doesn't take that much research to know what you are doing and you clearly don't know" that's the sort of shit I'm talking about making assumptions that I don't research my chemicals.fyi we've done hours and hours of research before and after we picked.i did take some photos on my iPhone so I will make an account on shroomery and put up a ID request cus I all my shrooms look similar some just a lot less mature than others got some small ones with long hollow stemband small head on top that I have seen people take at doofs I'm pretty sure they are baby's of

Wasn't it only last year you made a whole thread about some random medication you found that you couldn't be bothered googling (either way you definately did this with gabapentin), which turned out to be nothing? Seems in that instance you didn't research your chemical, rather you made a quick thread so others could do it for you. Why would I not assume you did the same with this so called experienced mushroom picker, take them along to do the intellectual work while you reap the potential benefits, ESPECIALLY if you don't even know the name of the fucking mushroom? You are getting all defensive for nothing mate, I had good reason for thinking what I thought and now the situation has been clarified I don't really know why you are still going on about it.

Also, just wanted to say, it is comical how you interpret my last post as having to have the last word when I actually addressed a question from your prior post in that (my) post. Did you really ask me a question and expect me not to come back and answer it, and if not then why the need to try and portray me as petty by inferring I posted simply to have the last word? Seems pretty stupid to me...

I really would prefer not to continue this disagreement as it is going nowhere and is just derailing the thread, however if you must have the last word then feel free. I wont be discussing this with you in this thread any further.

you are searching the wrong type of area's for this time in the year.... try doing more research on what you are actually looking for

Anything in or around Adelaide yet? Last year about this time I found some on my first lil hunt in Adelaide Hills region.. Definately have the rain at the moment in the Fleurieu it's pissing down. Does being coastal effect growing or potency? Got some spore prints and thinking of trying to grow some in the yard. Any tips? :)

I've done research. Cow paddocks. Wood chipped grass; rainfall and wet weather. This is Toowoomba in a nutshell. Why don't you actually tell me where to look during this time? Seriously. I would have thought that cubes would be the only common magic mushroom around SE QLD, and the subaeruginosa and other psilocybins are all further down south.

To be honest though I'm not very dedicated to finding these mushrooms. I just like getting out into nature.

TBPH there's not much point in searching around Toowoomba unless it's summer and you're looking for cubes. I've never found subbs out there. Not to say they don't grow in the perfect conditions, but they're not common.

Amanita Muscaria grows out there if you're into that.

Yes, being coastal does have an effect on growing if you're not doing it in controlled environments. The ambient temperature in coastal areas is generally lower IME. If you're thinking of distributing the spores in your yard and hoping you'll see some kind of result, you're in for a world of annoyance. They can take years before they'll show their first fruit.

Definitely a lot going around Adelaide, heh. My own, 'tiny' suburban patches have given me close to 2kg wet so far alone. That's 200g dry. That's 100 low doses, 50 fuck-you-off-your-mind doses. ;] Check out the South Australia thread on Shroomery; olive, I think it was, has found a monster patch in a pine forest. I think he's gotten around 15kg wet from 3 picks, pretty fuckin' amazing. Get out there!

Thank you. :) It doesn't matter if they take a couple of years, I am planning on living here for that long.
I'm about to walk to the beach and have a scratch around on the way. Unfortunately I think quite a few people spray poison on their gardens and the council on the sides of the road being a tourist spot down here.. I am still hopeful. :)
Happy Hunting!

So went for a journey to oberon and mt tomah today, unfortunatly only found amanitas and no subs :( Has anyone had success in finding subs on the blue mountains?
