Mushroom Season 2012

what you need to do is chant or hum Ommmmm while facing the east in the morning with the right ear to the earth...quiten your inner speech your pesky ego and listen for the fairies wisper...

fractal light fragment shimmering through sparsley dense fog will unveil the meaning...

I generally go out to my area, meditate and ask for some guidance to what I seek. I got a resounding acknowledgement last night and found a handful of old, dried out Pan Cyans. Now that it's pouring with rain today I can't wait for the next hot humid day.

This is in Inner Brisbane too.

how good / long was the past cubes season...hasnt been a season that long & fruitful for years! i just wish i could get subs up this way too :(

I have seen one patch of subbs growing in QLD but it was gone the next year. :(

There's a handful of places that, if you were to successfully introduce subbs, you'd have a year round mushroom patch.

haha yeh my thoughts/dreams exactly, however it would have to be in relative close proximity to a mental institution.

still a bit cold here in NNSW, give it another month, last year by mid november they were everywhere, we did have great rain though.

saw bell and convex shaped yellow/brown slimy mushrooms around the mt crawford area in adelaide, they do not bruise blue but are similar to gold tops / slippery jacks. does any one have any information about them? possibly toxic or hallucinogenic?
they were growing from rotting pine tree branches and needles and there was an abundance of sheep and kangaroo poo's if thats any help.

heres a link to the pictures i took:

thanks Ashie

Hey I'm from the Blue Mountains area and I was wondering if it's too late in the year to be finding any subs.
It's been raining the past two days and the weather's been cool enough, so what do you think my chances are?

To the man who said that he found Pan Cyans in the middle of the city, you are a liar.

Can you motherfuckers make it anymore obvious for cops to know what's going on?

WTF is wrong with you all?

Google it, don't fucking come here and asking them fucked up questions.

First of all, what grounds do you have to be calling me a liar? Secondly, I stated that the Pan Cyan finds were in the Inner Brisbane area, not the middle of the CBD.

Are you so dense that you think the cops don't already know what's going on? They aren't as slow and dimwitted as pop culture makes them out to be.

Would you rather have people go collect misinformation and outdated data which may lead to them misidentifying species and poisoning themselves? Or would they be better off coming where proven experience can guide them in the right direction?

Poisoning themselves. Not death. Just vomiting. And as for the Pan Cyan, it's a dung-inhabiting mushroom, so you sir, are a fraud. You've been caught out. Plus Brisbane hasn't had rain as of late...Fucking loser.

So what if it's just vomiting. I know I'd rather avoid both.

I know it's a dung mushie. As are Cubensis, which also grow in the Inner Brisbane area.

Yes we have had some rain in the past month. Not enough to start an explosion of fungus, but enough to have a handful poking themselves out of the ground.

But I forget, anyone with just over an hours experience on this forum (all of which is negative and attacking other members) must be some kind of drug god with connections to the top and a GC/MS handy in their living room. /woeisme

Are you in Cubeland? I am in Sub territory.

im somewhere in between.

The sun is shining here and the day is fantastic. The only thing this weather doesn't help is the ice.

did you see that clip on the morning shows where the German dude attempted to do a dive bomb through an ice covered swimming pool? the ice was too thick and didnt break...the dude must of seriously snapped his back haha

back on topic

And to all you other people (kids aged 14 to 18), shroom season starts in Winter up here in Queensland. You've missed it...:(...Summer time is for having fun with mates/surfing/doing fun shit that doesn't involve drugs.

^ this is incorrect, isnt it? funky fungus season in QLD starts spring/summer...cubes should be coming on soon after a little more rain and a little more humidity...not in the middle of winter. subs from down southern NSW/VIC enjoy colder climates and come on at the opposite time ie winter/autumn...

disclaimer; kids should not be ingesting magic mushrooms imo...whats the hurry to grow up? i would swap my mushroom experiences for returning to childhood in a heartbeat
