Magic mushrooms, hallucinogens seized in raid

A man will face court today charged with drug trafficking offences after a police seized magic mushrooms, hallucinogens and cannabis in a raid south-east of Melbourne last night.
Another man is also facing firearms charges after Bass Coast detectives and Wonthaggi police executed a search warrant in More Street, Leongatha about 6pm.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said officers seized magic mushrooms, cannabis, liquid drugs, a large quantity of cash and a firearm from the home.
The estimated street value of the drug haul is not yet known.
Stuart Barns, Leongatha, was charged last night with trafficking a commercial quantity of the hallucinogen psilocybin, trafficking cannabis, possessing hydroxybutanoic acid (GHB) and possessing amphetamines.
The 34-year-old faced an out-of-sessions hearing last night and was remanded in custody to appear at the Korumburra Magistrates Court today.
Police said a 43-year-old Leongatha man is expected to be charged on summons with possessing an unregistered firearm and related offences.
