found fuck all today in the Adelaide area :( maybe 50 or less. None were worthy of picture taken either :( All dried up to shitty looking state.

On other news, its raining this weekend thurs fri and sat. So that should make a Tuesday hunt wicked ;D
 
^ I wouldn't count on big finds this late in the season, however I have only picked in Melbourne/Victoria and I think SA's seasons start's and finishes a little later so maybe I am wrong. I can promise you that the season has well peaked by now.
 
There is still every chance of decent finds over that way, I used to find plenty up until August in SW Vic.

It's just the lack of rain from the high pressure system that has been hovering over southern Australia this week that has lead to smaller finds for you headdah.

tis been raining since weds, not huge rain fall. but theres a good amount being poured in SA.

this should lead to a fantastic hunt monday or tuesday :D
 
went for a small hunt today, manage to pick a few

i think its over for us in central vic gold fields.
last friday only produced a handfull from our usual patch, 1.5g dry [a good 1hour picking can bring 30g+ dry on average], but very potent! I had a ball saturday on my first solo trip!

cant wait for next season already!
 
went picking today. sadly between me and my mate, found about 30 all up :(
hell dissapointed. Although the ones we found. were all full grown and not so much effected by frost/cold. So maybe someone else beat us to the patches i don't know :(

gonna try again friday. if also similar results, i'm gonna hang up my mushypicking boots too for the year
 
after flicking through and reading some of the older posts i found one about redosing.

tollerance builds/starts at around 45 to 90minutes.
i have successfully redosed at 90minute mark, first chewing down 1.5g then redosing at 1.5g again. worked fine, but i would say just chewing down the 3g would have been the stronger option.

i find that a redose at 30~45min the difference is barely noticable, if at all. makes the nausea on the come up alot easier to bare too, IMO.

i try and keep the redose time to under 60minutes.

after the trip, i find that i can trip again at full strength 7 days later, but i havent tried a shorter wait.

I tried mushroom tea for the first time over the weekend.

Not sure what shrooms were used, I just know that there were 2 different types.

Now the trip came on within 10 minutes but was over in 2 1/2 hours. Is this normal? Or should it have lasted as long as it does when just eating them?

That sounds spot on mate. With tea your body digests it much quicker because it doesn't need to break it down as much thus causing usually a quicker come on with a more intense trip but finishing much quicker.

Tea can be one hell of a trip haha, hope you had a good time.
