I'm guessing we will have to wait till spring/summer to find any mushies in Victoria?

Its been very cold here lately.

You wont find any mushies in Victoria in spring/summer. If you go hunting right now you will find some but it is a little bit past peak time to go hunting.

As the mentor stated, it's mushy time in Vic right now.

It starts here in Mid-late April/May.

Eastern Vic is about over for the season but it's still cranking in the west and has been known to continue in small flushes up until mid September with the right conditions.

The temps stated on the last page were for Qld hunters

Hope that clears it up a bit

3 weeks ago there were pins everywhere I looked.

This week I found 1 active.

Thats Karma baby

anybody know of shrooms being found in central qld? Between townsville and rockhampton to be more descript.
I have heard of them being found but every time i go check there are none where they were last reported

Hey!
Never done a mushy trip before can anyone help me out with a bit of info on finding them and whatnot? Im from Perth. Me and a few mates want too go picking but dont know where too start...

Cheers

Hey Kramer

Have you read through this entire thread and mushroom threads from other years?

All the info you need should be answered earlier in this thread and also try www.shroomery.org for info from hunters in your area, I.D's etc.

A FEW NICE SPECIMENS FROM LATER IN THE SEASON

Black dirt shrooms were picked in Vic Kramer525 but i'm sure similar ground in southern w.a could turn up similar results.

As for your other question.

Please follow the guidelines.

Hunting locations will not be discussed in this thread

Must be those nipply caps hey scat?

I entertain adults every day in all sorts of ways...

I'll see what i can do about getting a comparison shot: mushy nipple v supple titty nipple or something along those lines.

Could be a fun photography session if i can stay away from both long enough to get the perfect shot lol

I'll have to run it past mods first

This thread has already had over 11,000 hits, unbelievable!

Found ~70g's in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne a week or so ago, and didn't see any pins or anything around. Do you think any more will grow back at this point in the season, and if they do, how long would they take approx? Bit of rain coming up this week, which would help I assume.
