riiiiiiiiiiighto
Out of curiousity I've put this question in another thread before but nobody answered, are the active constituents in the mushrooms we have here alcohol soluble?
Psilocybin is both alcohol and water soluable. I dont know about ether or other solvents though.
I think the best way to extract (carefully ofcourse when using any heat) is using an alcohol and distilled water mix.
Thanx chaps. I was just curious really, 'cause I thought it might be a good way to preserve it. Never even thought of growing it into crystals. That would be pretty crazy though. However, I probably won't even get a chance to try any this year.
would a reserve be a good place to pick em?
just generalising on the reserve melbourne
Read the entire thread and threads from other years before you go asking questions that have already been answered.
They are a wild mushroom so once you know what weather conditions to look for and what they grow in you will find them all over the place.
I suggest you research all you can and try to find someone with mushroom hunting experience to go picking with.

You guys should eat some cubensis from QLD or around Nimbin and eat a truckload if experienced, the baecyocin levels up here really gives you the fear factor and kick the trip to another level.
I think you'll find that's the answer you'll get.
